Sunn, on Mother's Day you have positive things to say about moms. But on Father's Day why you gotta post something negative? Why not post something uplifting and good about black fathers? Good Black fathers already don't get positive highlights. If you're gonna post about trash fathers then your next Mother's Day post should speak on trash mothers.

Bulls**t. Real quick, without scrolling back, tell me what was my Mother's Day post... Be quick. 😐 If you're triggered by the post, say that, and unpack it. Don't try to turn the table in some sloppy way that gets you embarrassed. Who said this is an official Father's Day post?? It's a response to a specific person on a specific topic that is relevant to a specified subset of selfish men. If you feel a way about it, that's on you. Hot dogs holla. Cope harder.

By the way, Mother's Day was on May 12th this year. My May 12th post was a clip of me co-hosting the Karen Hunter Show discussing Kendrick Lamar vs Drake. I literally didn't mention Mother's Day at all. You should know better than trying me like that. Just say what you have to say sans the shenanigans.

@@sunnmcheaux Whatever Sunn. You still found some ignorant a** post of a Black man for Father's Day rather than something uplifting displaying the good Black fathers. That was quite surprising, considering you generally post positive images of Blacks. So next Mother's Day, find some f*cked up Black mom to highlight to even the score. I should know better than to come for you? Who crowned you Grand Human of Everything? Sunn you aren't always right so jump down from your high horse. I think your Harvard employment has you thinking you're above reproach. Peace brother and have a good day.

Funny how they don't rush over to feed and physically care for their kids. FYI dudes, that court-ordered $200 per month doesn't feed your children and your "goodness-of-your-heart" gifts generally leave your children naked and/or without adequate daycare/ extra-curricular activities. - An Aunt who picks up the slack.

My dad took my siblings and I food, clothes, shoe, and school supply shopping on the regular. We were his kids so he clothed and fed us. My parents were divorced while I was very young so as far back as I can remember, I had co-parents. So as far as I learned, providing for your children no matter where they live or who they live with is simply what you do. The rest of y'all can do what you want but remember, kids become adults. Let me know how well that little explanation of "we're not together" goes over on them once you're looking for some senior care 😏

Where your children live are where the provisions go. They are so pressed to make mom suffer, that they allow the children to suffer too. What, do moms have to send the children to live with a 3rd party and do visitation so dad can feel ok stocking the fridge?

I notice the grown boy in a man's body, known as "dad" still does not want the child[ren] with him physically the majority to all of the time to make sure the refrigerator his child[ren] eat out of is full. Stop complaining to the internet, step up and be men we as a community need.

But also, why is he calling it "their mother's" refrigerator? It feels a little like he's trying to create a separation between them, and the food. The question could have have been phrased as, "fill the refrigerator at their mom's house". It feels like he's phrasing it that way, to make himself feel better, about not helping to keep his kid(s) fed, no matter which house they're at. It sounds like, he knows the answer to his question, and is trying to talk himself out of it.

So I'm responsible to make sure they got food in their bellies until I leave this life. If you brought kids in this world, you are responsible for that. Do you have the responsibility to be a father? Peace. This is bitterness. These same people are not using their brains or hearts. I say that because there are females who agree with him. They definitely will not be able to handle the responsibility of FT parenting. I am sure his idea is "Let them stay with me, then." as an alternative. He probably isn't thinking about the time, effort, or care it takes to nurture the child(ren). Smh. I have known men to buy their ex a car to be able to get around with their child(ren). One brother gave his child's mother gas money even though she has a man. Another brother I know will do anything for his child with no questions asked. He had a bad break up with the mother of his child; but that didn't matter. It's time to grow up and show up. Peace

i just don't understand if you are working, healthy, and able, why would you NOT want to help the primary parent as much as you can?? Yes that means groceries, gas money, offering to give the primary parent a few hours/days off because you are on a staycation, etc. Parenting is so much more than buying supplies or paying tuition with child support money. I have to drive my daughter 2.5 hours to her dad if I get stuck in traffic it can be more like 4-5. He won't even offer me a glass of water let alone a meal to eat before I get back on the road.

Take care of them. Because if you choose not to - or feel the need to make a whole TikTok video trying to paint yourself in a sympathetic light to antagonize your ex - at that point you care more about making sure your ex doesn't have a good or adequate life than making sure your kid does.

My girl asked me if I needed to pay her back for feeding her child while they were visiting my cats. I just looked at her like she was crazy... I'm not going to charge my girl to feed her baby yeah the kid's 17 but since the kid was 14, they've listened and learned from me and respected me like I'm an adult and not one of their peers which is all I ask of any kid I'm looking out for. Plus nobody's kid is going hungry around me for real for real.

My father and his side REFUSED to help us in order to spite my mother. My sister and I suffered for it. Now theyre angry nd upset that we dont call, text, and visit and tell everyone that our accomplishments were becauae of our mother. Stop trying to punish her ny ounishing your kids or you will never see them again

I often wonder what my son's dad's Fathers Days are like, surrounded by his second family, the "respected patriarch" who gives his second wife's kids Audis and such. And sets them up in the profession and lucrative business he began decades ago. Meanwhile, our son whom he hadn't seen in over 20 years, has worked hard for everything he has. I provided him with the best private education around, (he faced a lot of othering and outright racism in public school.) But the rest has been up to him, and he has achieved every goal, fulfilled every dream, he ever set his eyes on. Meanwhile, his spoiled half siblings have likely never had to work for anything, ever. My kid is, dare I say, probably a lot smarter than that lot, and he didn't have to grow up under the roof of a sociopathic, manipulative liar. So, there's that. 😅😅 (Yeah, I sure could pick 'em back in my younger days, but, I'll never regret the beautiful boy I got out of the deal!!) I'm guessing his dad's Fathers Days are every bit as shallow, superficial, and joyless as the guest of honor. 🙄😬😬

Feeding a child is a privledge. Letting your own child go hungry out of spite is unthinkable. I knkw a man who paid child suppport and let his sons mother keep the disability checks she was getting for the boy, just so he could raise his own son full-time. If he hadn't, that boy would likly have ended up in jail, like his half brothers. Put your kids first or get fixed.

The weirdest thing is that, in the original video, that man makes it a point to specify that one of the kids is adopted. He says that she’s not his biologically but he’s still her dad and she’s still his daughter… okay, sir? You want a medal for taking care of your adopted daughter? I don’t care if she was adopted by both of them or if she was born from a previous relationship of the mother, he adopted her, so she should be regarded the same as his other kids. Evidently whoever decided to give him half custody thinks so. The only reason he’d point something like that out is if he wanted to make himself look like he’s going above and beyond for “someone else’s kid” while also making the ex look questionable and devaluing the daughter’s worth. It’s the little things. How does that girl feel being told “I take care of you even though-“ that’s just a nasty attitude to have towards your daughter.

There are people who can sit down and eat when they know that their children are going hungry. The guy who made the original video is one of those. In the future he’ll be online complaining that this children don’t talk to him.
