Brother I need help. Mine just clicks when the magnet hits the sensor what was the issue?

sounds like the switch is bad, a click means it gets the signal but the signal is not making it to the motherboard to process it as a close. I have replaced the switch and it worked. they are under $25. Worth a try as motherbaords are $75, and new units now are $220+
