Ultra tour IMO needs weight. Modeled after the H19 I believe. It was a retail racquet that was a nice platform racquet. Lead at 3/9, leather grip, and maybe a little lead near top of the handle. 320g 292SW 310mm with gut/poly really worked out well for me.

Love the videos, can you compare the tour 18x20 to the 16x19? ik you said that only the 16x19 is in the US but in Canada I can only find the 18x20. Know it was modelled after the ultra but read that the 18x20 was super low powered which confused me. Cheers

I just bought one of the Artengo TR960s the other day (only had the 16x19 version though) - just waiting to collect it from the stringers. Really curious to see how it plays.

I play actually with the Wilson Ultra Pro V3, 18x20...The best raquet I ever played with and I have tried a lot of raquets...Needs weight for power because it is very underpowered but best precision you can ever get

Would love your advice on some rackets to try. I currently use the Wilson clash v1 98. It feels great when rallying or hitting 50% power, but I lose all control whenever I try to rip it. In highschool I used the a blx 95 and it just didn’t have enough power. In college I used one of those head Djokovics and it just didn’t give me enough spin. I used to like the yonex sv98 but I cracked it on a serve and I haven’t liked the newer yonexes. I’m a 4.5 baseliner, Id say my play style would be similar to Lleyton Hewitt.

This Artengo racket is more of a Prestige S copy. Thinner beam, decent flex, very good stability and good control. Feels underpowered. The topspin is not much there even for a 16x19 version, so you have to hit more flat like with the Prestige rackets and then it works. If you look at how Cilic or Medvedev swings their racket, this is how you should do it to make the best of this frame.

@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy Жыл бұрын
@@ozsa3156 I agree. At the beginning I didn't feel the spin compared to my 100 inch2 racket, but after hitting with it more and more, the spin is actually massive. I'm playing with this racket regularly and having a blast. I customized it though - 3/6 o'clock with 3+3 lead and 2g of lead at 12 o'clock and it's amazing.

well, definitely he needs to try the new prince 98 tour, if he is looking for controlled power then why not pure trike 98 16x19 ? in UK we have same Artengo TR960 Control Tour but with 16/19, price £99 😃 best price on the market. But unstrung swing weight for that racket is 285, which means strung will be around 315 i don't think its enough for decent stability and power, probably some lead can fix that ))
@DJBop86

I picked one up the other day - unstrung weight is listed as 305g. Had a £40-odd voucher from Quidco too so it ended up costing me less than £60 - bargain!! 🎉

I don't think it's gonna do any good to anyone, trying different rackets with different strings. Even so, the Artengo is pre-strung, who knows when. I'm sure they know this already. For example, I would expect trying both with Solinco Tour Bite at the same tension.

Coach Harry ,ur forehand has no power . It’s all wrist
@chuckfriebe843
@chuckfriebe843 2 жыл бұрын
There's nothing wrong with using the wrist the way he does. His problem is his footwork. When he strikes his forehand, he's falling backward. Go back and look at older videos. He always looks like he's hitting off of his right leg and moving backward away from the ball.
