CyberCarl because there’s no rivalry. An adult trying to help a child shouldn’t be called in to question if the adults intentions were to indeed help the child. Just because they’re not from the same school it doesn’t make them enemies. I used to cheer in high school and the other teams coaches were always friendly and helpful. Or our coach would offer her assistance if it was ever needed. There’s no reason to create this illusion of “they’re our enemy we must destroy them!” It’s high school sports they’re not that serious.

She was definitely trying to trip this girl up in an extremely awkward way. I did gymnastics as a kid and you never had a spotter come out of nowhere and just run up to you to spot randomly. Especially with a girl who’s as talented as that. When we asked for a spotter my coach was there, or else you were on your own. I don’t see how her saying she was spotting helps the case at all due to the fact the girl looked extremely confused as she obviously came out of nowhere and in no way was trying to spot this girl. Honestly, looks like the coach was mad that maybe the girl was showboating out of routine and the coach wasn’t having it. So I believe in her mind if the girl fell or for hurt in her mind it would of served her right. By no means was that coach spotting the girl and that’s an absolute fact. You practice routines and know exactly when a spotter will be there. What you don’t have is a coach who purposely walks into you in the middle of multiple back - handsprings

Exactly!

SOOO AGREE!!! You know better than to ever get in the way when someone is doing a bunch of handsprings in a row. What kind of coach is she? And she definitely wasn't trying to spot the girl.

See that big line in the middle. Miss Show Off wasn't supposed to cross it. Gymnastics isn't cheerleading.
@Evo247.4 жыл бұрын
When you stated your own opinion as an “absolute fact”, I stopped taking you seriously. It’s also obvious that the girl wasn’t supposed to go over the half court line. You can even see the teacher flinch as soon as the girl begins her last flip. I swear, people always see the negative in things, smh

So a cheerleader is in the middle of tumbling very well, and the opposing team's coach walks into her path causing a near collision, and her excuse is that she was trying to catch her. Ok.
@introdispenser57073 жыл бұрын
Let's use our EYES and common sense : ) As we can see, the coach was walking towards the other side of the court. In the video, you see that she turns her head (got distracted) and accidentally started walking towards the cheerleader. When she notices that she gets too close, she backs a little, and put her hand up in a catching position for a brief moment and puts it down. "Why did her foot go up then?" It's called reflexes, people move a random part of their body when they suddenly notice something. Example? What do you do when you hear a loud noise? Reflexes tell you to turn your head. For some others, reflexes also tell them to move their hands. Now, we learned something today?

@@introdispenser5707 My reflex would be to never get that close to a teenage girl when she's tumbling. Hard to believe the coach didn't know that since the girl was practically in front of her. If it was me I wouldn't want to risk an injury to a student. Having said that, the firing seems a bit harsh. Just poor judgment.

@eerieblight4 жыл бұрын
@Coley Durham Watch the beginning. You can clearly see a girl go back from the white line, yet the coach ignores her because it was a girl from her team. I understand if she wanted to catch her, but she stuck out her foot by the girl's foot. That's not how you catch someone. And yeah, she flinched, because she thought her plan would fail when she almost got kicked in the face.
@eerieblight4 жыл бұрын
@Coley Durham "You don't know that" You can see her clearly go back to her team. The only one that needs to shut up is you, learn to pay attention damn. Either way why would she ignore one girl and pay attention to the other? If that wasnt her team, they'd both be crossing the line. You're at fault here, admit it.
@kierstynzdroid7 жыл бұрын
I was in cheer for ten years. She was clearly trying to trip her, not trying to "catch her in case she fell". that girl had perfect form for her back hand springs and wasn't in anyway in struggling. And no coach, especially from an opposing team would walk up suddenly to spot her out of nowhere.
