My opinion is that the reason the push in the back happened, at all, was in response to the elbow to her face. You are correct. I never played basketball or any real sports. I'm a spectator. You obviously have played. When you got elbowed in your face, by an opponent not making a play on the ball, intentionally hit you in the face, how might someone react to a situation like this?

From what I saw (within the first 10 seconds), the player in the white is literally putting her elbow and body weight on the other girl's back and to break free, the player in the black elbows her which in turn results in the player in the white throwing a little slap or what have you to the face. I would never have a high foul count and I would get them back when I could isolate on a drive hard into them hold the ball hard elbow to the nose knee to the groin, and most of the time foul on them the most I got was a charge. Or I would take them out on a layup. I would let them steal the ball for a fast break and pick my angle. I knew if I got a piece of the ball and did not swing at their head, no flagrant. I let my hips and my momentum do the work. I played against 4 guys that went on to play NBA ball But I had a rep after a while. F with me and payback is coming,

@@tedgraham6548 : Yes Natalie Gourdine was being fouled! The refs should have called a holding or push foul. A forearm to the back is only allowed on the blocks (i.e., in the post). Even in the post some refs will call the foul if it’s opposite the ball-side. For a defender to get away with a firearm to the back in the post, there must be a player facing the post from the outside, with the ball, looking to make an entry pass. That’s the only way it will be allowed. A forearm to the back is an automatic foul in the open court…no-brainer.

she clearly just has a attitude problem bc if you pay attention, at the very end when she goes back on the court and has a new defender, almost IMMEDIATELY you can see her start to say "don't touch me" to that defender and the dirty look she gives her. she just wants to fight and you can't ball if you can't control yaself. she was in the wrong period. it's basketball, you bound to get shoved and defended like that.

LOOKING AT THE OFFICIALS , I JUST REMEMBERED THAT CORONA MASKS WITH THE TWO FILTERS AT EITHER SIDE MAKE IT WAAY EASIER TO BREATHE . I HAVE FILTERED AND PLAIN MASKS . THERE'S A BIG DIFFERENCE IN BREATHING BETWEEN THE TWO TYPES .
