I’ve been saying this for awhile. It’s a combination of forcing young QBs to start right away with no system and nfl development. NIL deals having players rich already by the time they get there so why even worry about getting better. Then you have NFL changes that lower practice and preseason time so no your 3 weeks into the season and teams are still trying to develop an identity. If you bet on football you probably notice how many QBs are struggling to hit even 225+ yards a game.

Passing numbers are down to their lowest level since 1980 so far this season... If that's not trash QB play (especially considering how slanted the rules are in their favor now compared to that time), then there's no such thing as good or bad amd everything is all happy and equal in the world 🙂 What an absolute mouth breather.

A lot of it is a lack of practice and continuity....its probably why there are a lot of hamstring injuries as well

I noticed it from declining O-line play leading to messy offenses and lots of QB injuries, whatever it is, in this sport it means those players not only lose, they just get beat up badly, glad i wasn't subject to playing that brand of painful football

AR5 so far this season: 36/73 (took him 3 games to get to 30 completions) 3 TDs 6 INTs He got outplayed by Malik Willis in week 2. This is the same guy that Smitty said was a dark horse MVP candidate. 😐😐😐

Dude looked like shit at Florida! He had like ONE good game! Idk wtf is wrong with these fucking clowns.....let's bring back old school, classic pocket passers. How much fucking incompetence do these clowns need to see before they realize this "let's try a running back at QB" shit ain't it?!? And it's at all levels now. I agree with JB on this one, I originally thought he was trippin, but I gotta admit, the product isn't good. I enjoy watching a few teams in the NFL , but that's about it.

Is it just me or does nobody know how to finish off a post pattern anymore??? I see all these QBs going for 20 of 27 for 187 yards. What the hell??? Where are the gunslingers like Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, etc??? Everything is swing passes, screens, or stuff underneath for 4 to 6 yards.

I’m a titans fan. I understand. Will Levis has been in three different offenses in years. I understand it’s hard to learn a brand new offense when you have to learn a brand new offense last year as a rookie. But it’s really hard to defend. Will let this and watch the product on the field.

Football playersz especially skill dudes, dont have to have that hunger anymore because they get what they want at the first sign of being good. Going all the way to highschool. Whej are we going toclearn as a society that when shits not hard, it diminishes. Weve done it with most jobs. Kids being given degrees to be drs, dr quality decreases. When you baby the younger generationz they dont have to work and excel anywhere near as much. Its in every aspect of society. Basically, we made life too good and too easy while being comoensated too much to do shit that really dont matter to the betterment of human civilization. I've watched 2 of the Titans games. I see Calvin Ridley and D'Andre Hopkins and think how the hell can you not light it up with the passing??? I haven't paid attention to their O-line though, so that could be a factor.

Get a job

No has nothing to do with generation. For as much that is put into the QB position, most really aren't that good. Go watch some of the QBs from the 90s and 2000s. Even the kids who didn't make the NFL. One thing old heads like myself tend to forget is the modern game is different in terms of trying to protect players. But it doesn't mean the basic fundamentals of the game change. I couldn't see many of today's players playing for a Woody Hayes.

NFL issue is QB play. QBs don't get under C and are perma shotgun. Same issue with Shedeur. Makes protections harder and lengthens each throw by 5-10+ yards. 🎯 + timing 📉 Not crisp

A lot of the nuance of the QB position has been lost due to this. QB right over DT manipulating cadence to draw offsides. QB sneaks.. and RB handoffs. The pitch, the sweep.. I formation There aren't fullbacks just 3 down pseudo tailbacks. Play action is not as effective to freeze Defences bc nothing is visually disguised/hidden like it was❤. And the quick 5 yard slant taken to the house is all but a thing of the past. The jumbo tight ends with with quick pro pass routes. Go down the line that one aspect of the game brought in by the proliferation of spread offense has altered 🏈 so much on both ends of the ball. There's so much, could write 📚
