Change the player and you change the energy. The players will respond. Well they definitely did today. The fans who know the standard have been waiting for this all year. I just hope it's not too late. Good job Mason !

Here is what's clear, Tomlin does not like him. You can tell in the way he talks about him, you can tell by the way he tries to make Mason look bad during the preseason. Tomlin puts Kenny Pickett out on the field with the starters and they go up against a lot of 2nd stringers and draft picks, then he puts in Mitch, and then Mason, with some receivers who will not be playing on ANY team. Then when Mason looks good, Tomlin acts like he SHOULD look good, he is a VETERAN PLAYER. Ya, a veteran player with a winning record even though that record came at a time when he just started his career and the team had lost their two most dominant offensive weapons, Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown AND Mason was hit so hard, he clearly had a brain injury. If you want to argue that this team "came together" for this ONE game, like they did for the ONE GAME after the Canada firing, then you are going to have to ADMIT they are CAPABLE of playing like this anytime, Tomlin just does not have them ready to, week after week. And if Mason has another great game, then we have to address why Tomlin never gave him the chance and instead, kept going with Mitch, who the Steelers KNOW can't play.

Mason has had SO MANY opportunities and that's exactly why he's the 3rd string QB and he's been on the team for 5 years. Sat behind Ben for 3 years and couldn't win the job again Duck Hodges. He should absolutely be able to conduct a productive offense against an average team when his number is called on. Mitch is a complete bust, not even back up worthy but that at least me wasn't obvious until those lousy 3 game L's.

I think Rudolph is doing great things. BUT, what just happened is (mostly) because "Joe Burrows" was not there. And next week. The Sea-hawks QB is gonna be back. And IF the game looks a little different. It's not because Rudolph is doing "different" than he did in week 16.

Tomlin is a defensive minded coach, the Offense is controlled by Faulkner the O.C. and Sullivan the play caller, the defense which is controlled by Tomlin and Austin has been carrying the Offense all season until now..

@@pineytreez6811- Stop making excuses for Tomlin! Anyone with a single brain cell can see Mitch has been complete garbage since he got here. So now ask yourself this question if Tomlin is such a great coach then why did he keep Canada here for another season when clearly the entire league and the kids at my local kindergarten know he sucked!!! He never should have been hired to begin with because he had no success anywhere prior to being hired as the OC. Mason clearly has outplayed both Pickett and Mitch so tell me why Tomlin is such a great coach when Stevie Wonder can see at worst case Mason should have been the back up. Maybe had Tomlin stopped playing favorites with Mitch and instead had put Mason in there my guess is we probably would have won 2 out of the 3 games we lost and would be in serious playoff contention instead of being outside looking in! Tomlin is not a good coach period! In fact he is incompetent!!!

This is another reason Dumblin needs fired. How many wasted weeks and loses by playing Mitch. He plays Mason and they helps team get a win. Dumblin should be fired for not playing him as soon as Pickett was injured!!! Fire Dumblin IMMEDIATELY

who's Dumblin!?!?...the Steelers don't have anybody on that coaching staff by that name...you must've gotten the Steelers mixed up with the Bengals Coaching staff, because the Steelers made the whole Bengals team look Dumb, you dummy!!!..
