Unless he's being interviewed by the Media. He was consistently a rude, classless dick to so many Media members during in-game and post-game pressers. There was no reason for it. Those people were just doing their jobs. Let's face it, it's just basketball they're covering, not world politics or science. There simply aren't that many intellectually compelling questions to ask about men playing a basketball game. Any time Pop didn't like a question, he was curt, condescending, and outright rude to whoever asked it. Oddly, no one called him out on this crappy behavior. Everyone just gave the man a pass. I'll never know why. I'm glad his team has sucked for many years now, because he doesn't have the ability to get away with such awful behavior.

When we did make the finals in 94 (no MJ) we lost in 7 to the Rockets. The 2000's were great because of guys like Kobe, Iverson, Shaq, Vince Carter and the 2001 Knicks had a he'll of a run

Then Wade (THE SUPERSTAR RECRUITER) recruited Bron to join the Heat in 2011 and they fucked up. Lillard and the Blazer 4-2, Kobe, Pau and the Lakers 4-0, Durant, Russ Harden and the Thunder 4-2 then Wade, Bron and the Heat 4-2. Dirk made it to the finals where he's the only superstar on their team while wade needs another superstar (Lebron) to join him with the Heat but still failed to win the chip in the 2011 finals 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Dirk never had an All-Star in his prime outside of Nash and Finley. 10 50-win seasons as a lone All-Star in his team in the West is something. Nash left before he became a 2x MVP, and even that Suns team had Marion and Amare -- both All-Stars in their primes. Wade had Shaq, LeBron, and Bosh. Pau had Kobe, Artest, and Odom. Dirk had Terry as his most consistent teammate. Pierce said he's almost traded to the Mavs. I always wondered what the Mavs would look like with Dirk + Kidd + Pierce.
@J-Hue
@J-Hue 2 күн бұрын
Nash wouldn't have been close to what he was next to Dirk. His success in Phoenix was largely due to D'antoni's pg centric offense. Even then, his production was far from actual mvp level. He was overhyped and given too much credit for the team's success, like CP3 with Phoenix recently, when he really just joined the right team at the right time.

@@J-Hue to be fair, PHX was 29-53 in 2003-2004. They were 62-20 in 2004-2005. The roster stayed the same outside of Nash. That's quite a feat.

Dirk Nowitzki is the Greatest White NBA Player ever. Don’t @ me. Only 7 players in NBA history have 30,000 plus career points Dirk is the only White one….. No Hall of Fame in their prime frontcourt like Bird had. No super team needed to get his ring. And the teams he beat to get his ring were no joke. Swept Kobe’s defending champion Lakers. Waxed the Durant/Harden/Westbrook/Ibaka-led OKC Thunder in 5 games in the Conference Finals. Overcame a 2-0 deficit in the NBA Finals against LeBron/Wade/Bosh/Allen’s Heat to win the chip. Dirk is the Greatest White NBA player ever🤷🏽‍♂️

Lebron has played with so many HOF. If Dirk didn't win the championship, he would be like T-Mac or Carter. Still a future HOF, but not with this much praise. That's what happens when you LeChoke a lot, your competitors become high level HOF

Became a Dirk fan and a Mavs fan since 2011. That year was really something. Jimmy and the Heat almost made that same run this 2023 but fell short with Denver.

Seen them twice I’ll never go to another skid row concert. No offense to Lizzy great singer but nobody can replace Sebastian Bach. I feel the same with Geoff Tate from Queensryche. Nobody can replace him.

Dirk was great. He took the same shot and no one could stop it from going in. The guy was supposed to be a Warrior. The Don was coaching. He knew Dirk was going to be great 👍. Pop won Championships. The players make too much money and don't play hard !82 games was normal.

I have to ask Maverick fans. What kept Dirk Nowitzkis' teams from winning multiple championships? There were some years when the Lakers weren't winning, and Dirk was in his prime.

Dirk beat Aldridge, Kobe, Gasol, Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Lebron, Wade and Bosh on his way to the title. Greatest run ever! Dirk is the man here in Dallas

That team was like a west coast version of that last Pistons championship team ..a true team effort ..except Dallas had a superstar in Dirk who performed at an all time level ..props given ..and for those who forgot..an all time choke job by Lebron 💁🏽😂

What's so relevant about this?? A bunch of millionaires showing appreciation for one another. He should be showing appreciation to hard working middle class Americans with children who bring their kids to NBA games and made him a very wealthy man.

Even though Pau was a Spur for a short time (the team I follow), I have not seen much of him playing. I had no idea that he was HOF caliber. When he was a Laker, I remember once when he seemed to crave Kobe's approval (like a kid). It seemed he was still rough and learning, even though he had been in the league for 7 years. Still, I'm sure that he earned his spot in the hall, I just missed seeing a lot of his career.
