To see Coach T cry struck a nerve with me. There’s definitely a difference in people who do things because they have to versus those that do it because they want to. Those that have to wouldn’t care as much as the JCE staff does. I commend all of these coaches for the work that they do for the passion for this sport and this team. Time is something you can’t get back, cherish it and your coaches because once these days are over I guarantee you that they’ll still be a phone call away for you ladies. I totally understand Coach T, it hurts my heart to watch y’all have to have this talk with the girls!! I believe the girls can do it they just need that extra push in which they can only do that their self. I love the close bond family like relationship the team has becuase my team ones I stopped cheering never talked to each other. I’m glad you guys did this because it was a good time for the girls to address what they are feeling. You are by far the best coach to these girls. Faith is the youngest on the team a lot is going to effort her more than a lot of others on the team because she is younger and shy you do come off a Lil rude even if you look at her as a sister or not she is younger she might not takes things how we will she YOUNG it’s ok to give tuff love

Shy does come off as having a bad attitude but you can't deny her passion for the sport. You can work on how you speak to people but if you don't love what you do, you will never succeed. I applaud her for admitting she doesn't like being in the front all the time, that shows that she's not just there for attention. The 3 heavy hitters put in work and it shows. Maybe coach T should have two teams, Advanced and Beginner. I know it's not that easy but some of the girls are obviously not on the same level and it's hurting the team as a whole. One looks bad and out of place, the team looks bad and out of place. When one doesn't give 100% the team as a whole looks sloppy.

This video was very hard to watch, seeing coach T cry was heartbreaking. Had me getting a little teary eyed, but I hope you young ladies take everything that was said in this video into consideration. If y’all really want to cheer, y’all have to give it 100%. I agreed with what each of y’all said, especially Faith and Shy. Even Aaliyah, when she said favoritism. Which I can see why she can think that at time but like Shy said she been knowing the coaches for 4 years. As far as the attitudes towards each other have to stop. I like the fact that Annia acknowledge that her and her sister has an attitude problem and said that’s how they talk to each other at home (because that’s how my sister and I talk to each other) but once they get to practice they should work on changing it. As far as the people that was in Imani stunt group, it should never be a reason why a flyer falls on the ground like that with out one person trying to help. Yea I get it, it all happened so fast but at the same time once y’all seen her falling someone should have grabbed her. Imani you are an amazing cheerleader, cause even after that fall you still continue to give it your all. Facials were on point. I hope you feel better! JCE 🧡💙

Father I thank God that IMANI is ok I'm still prying for you, for coach mom to preach the way she did she said it all she is one of the best female coaches I've seen and all of her girls have learned a lot from her. I've watched her since Dudley H.S she is a tremendous person. I love it when she prays for her girls she really really cares a lot for her girls. A coach can never kill the vibe when your messing up a cheer that they taught you. Seeing her cry broke my heart I've never seen that in her to really ho in that way. I pray that you ladies get it together push harder and learn how to talk to each other with respect. Also when you have issues with each other pull them to the side with a coach and talk it out and hug and get back to practice. You are all beautiful young ladies with a brute future ahead of you can go for and succeed in life. All the coaches can help you get far with your cheering they will help you get college ready. I think the talk was much needed but I do believe everyone should be more positive instead of so harsh. You should always make it a point to say something positive when you have to talk about something bad. They are athletes but they are children and human. They all talked about how people talk to them, it’s important. Also the coaches ask the girls to talk about issues but downgraded their feelings once they did. If they feel like you show favoritism acknowledge their feelings first then explain because it’s obvious something happen to make them feel like that. Don’t get me wrong get on them if they mess up but know how so y’all can get better results. Lastly coaches should have ask Shy to pipe down when she did her spill because it’s no point in talking cause it’s not effective if they focusing on her delivery. Wow this video was intense it made me cry listening to the coaches. I hope that the girls are listening to one another and get better. Also I feel like aaliyah didn't take full responsibility for her part in the stunt because watching the video of their competition she loaded the flyer in too high and I think it was the unbalanced set in that made the flyer fall forward. I had mixed feelings about the meeting but I felt both the girls and Coach T hit some good points. If all the girls aren't equally being punished that is a low blow. Building a team that has love for the sport and trust towards the leaders will take equality. So if from the bottom of yall hearts you know its happening lets end that quickly. Honestly, Shy's Dudley strings of faith should have been unattached! Meaning: this is a new team, her loyalty and credibility should start fresh along with the other ladies. She's a new canidate on the new team like the other ladies. The calls and all other things should have ceased because at the end of the day Shy is young and those privliages could easily go to her head (they have). She shouldn't feel comfortable at all. Caoch T she was your girl and trust me I understand but that causes problems especially on a new team. No one should EVER feel safe . Thats why coaches on every level makes girls tryout over again and let them know they can easily be replaced. Now for the girls: Shy isn't the only one who has huffed, puffed. Some of yall really do give 13% but when yall are laughing and playing you give 600%. Don't join any organization and be dead weight. You can't say they aren't teaching you fun stuff when you getting basic and poorly displaying whats been taught. They better than most coaches cause yall wouldn't even be performing until it was 100% correct. And if you dont like it you and momma can go elsewhere. Yall gotta get it together because the college level the coaches dont talk sweet at ALL... Coach T and the other coaches love yall but yall gotta atop wasting their time. Yall are all beautiful and the coaches are great at what they do!!! They aren't going to say sweet things everyday and everytime yall do something. Thats just how we are as coaches. When u give it your all at practice you gon do even the more at the performance and learn how to talk to each other. Y'all are sisters. Coach T has worked too hard for y'all to not be 100% committed. If yall want to do more advanced routines y'all need to graduate from kindergarten(very first routine) get the work right so that you can go to college and get those degree (more advanced routines). To be a cheerleader you have to be dedicated. I agree with Shy, if you have more dedication and drive then the rest of your team then it is hard to carry the weight of the rest of the team or even learn new material. Just a word of advice you have to practice every single day and every single moment you get. When I was in school we learn 10 to 20 cheers in 1 day to 4 days and performed it full out at the games. You gotta want it and go get it. We also learned cheers the day before but you have to be confident that you will perform. There is no time for GAMES especially when there is money involved. Good job on the performance Shy! She murdered the floor. I think the material is creative. If I had the time I would love to coach. Maybe I can come and coach over the summer. Again it takes dedication and if you can't put your all into then don't do it at all. I was on a team with only 3 girls because of grades and lack of dedication. We were loud and turned the house out! Everyone does need to work on how they talk to one another but also you will cry along the way because it's a hard process. TRUST THE PROCESS!

I have alot to say....Being a coach in any sport! There's always going to be that 1 or 2 participants that you can really rely on(Not a favorite)... Shy is that 1! We can all agree she's captain material. If she's captain of this team.... then yes, She suppose to be a bit meaner than the other girls... that's kind of her job to make sure you're getting it (not messing up on the same part over and over again). captain roles is to make the coaches work as less as possible. Just imagine teaching someone how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and they continuously tear the bread..... you'll get a little irritated because it's not that hard to do 4 smooth steps.....

Deja.... you have opened up so much I'm happy because at first you seemed really shy and as the videos kept coming I started noticing how much you were improving with everything!!! Im like "im team deja", but then I'm not sure what happened...You just stopped....at least you were honest with yourself because yes recently at practice most of the time you're not giving your all and when it's time to perform it only looks like you're giving 75% from not giving it your all at practice, but you're not the only one your whole team half step at practice. That's something that plays a big role when it's time to compete. You said you'll "give my all".... here's some ways to "give my all" stop talking and playing at practice.

To the Coaches honestly..... they should have stricter practices. ain't no talking and playing you shut the mouths, learn the material and listen that's for everyone! Dont ask no questions just catch on if you ain't catching on then it aint meant for you to compete at the competitions. Go With 6 or 7 girls until the other 3 learn it. I'm just being honest... it's time to bring something new to the viewers.... Get stricter coaches! JCE name travels outside of NC (which im sure yall know)... Honestly I feel like yall should have had this conversion a long time ago. I have been watching yalls videos and yall should have cut girls out for that performance. Some girls just don't want to be there and you can tell. Real talk...I was shocked you guys did a stunt in competition so soon after learning it, especially considering how much time you spent practicing the less dangerous basic cheer moves. I could tell in the practices the girls weren't ready or confident in the stunts. I understand you may need mats and access to a facility to effectively practice those stunts, but at least dedicate the same time (or more) as given to knee lifts, shakes, and chants, etc. Coach T is right about her brand. The glaring mistakes can make it seem as though she doesn't adequately prepare her girls and doesn't demand excellence. She doesn't cheer, so the team really is her brand and reputation.

Erica exactly. But in order to do Smoed type stunts, the coaches have to be USASF certified. But I absolutely agree with you
