Yeah in coordinated teams, strange is amazing, but magneto is better for solo queuing ranking up. He has much more self peel and survivability. He also has more damage potential, assuming you can hit the shots.

I will say if you're Dr. Strange and someone is up in your face or you're pushing really hard: Weave melee attacks inbetween your primary fire. It does decent damage, gives you MORE chaos buildup than the primary, and the awkward delay between each primary fire is filled with more damage. This also works with the shield if you're playing more defensively

Yeah melee with Doc is a requirement. The melee has huge range too. Great advice from the yeller (Mills) too. I struggle as a Tank main, but makes sense to "push and pull" as he said. Push to make space and kind of move from natural cover to natural cover and use corners so you can retreat and get cooldowns back. I've always liked mobile Tanks in other hero shooters like Overwatch (D Va and WInston), but don't really play Tanks like Reinhardt. I'd like to learn Doc because he's so much better than the other Vanguards right now.

​@@Snow-Order66 i personally think it's a bad gameplay mechanic to take away a core mechanic of what makes a sniper like widowmaker or black widow. they're some of their respective games hardest characters to play, so it's rewarding to actually get good with the character. not having a one shot makes black widow flawed and completely pointless to be in the game. while annoying to face a high tier widowmaker, there's a reason dive characters exist to counter. black widow definitely deserves her one shot.

Hawkeye bomb arrows are great for quickly opening off angles through destructible walls. Black Panther is insanely good at punishing grouped up back lines (which is most of them). Think he deserved a slot on this list over maybe Adam who gets easily punished by pressure.

Yep, and a pretty braindead hero to boost.. 2 shotting non-tanks to the body is a heresy.. dunno who came up with that mechanic .. and 2 shotting tanks to the head too.. Strange is by far an insanely strong tank, his shield can block ultimates like magneto's, iron man, hawkeye, widow, etc using his ultimate you want him to be powered up fully to 100% or close to it then pop ultimate you'll get the most out of it, strange's teleport is also not talked about enough you can set up crazy spots for certain players like him & punisher are insanely good together

As Venom, your apm needs to be high to build ult. If your team isn't "ready" you need to be disrupting the healers. You may not kill them, but sometimes it's enough to make them have to deal with you and stop healing their team. Then you can get out and peel back to your team, get healed, and go back in. Works extremely well, unless they have supports that can stun you, then you're cooked and may need to adjust or change.

Didn't see Venom as 2, but I like it. Best Dive Vanguard for sure. Also amazing advice about not going in too early. I'm some maps I'll basically get on the ceiling and watch the fight until I see a poor strategist on his own and just drop on him, snare him, get the kill and then when the team realizes I just killed their healer and try to peel I'll do some damage, pop my extra boost, get another kill and get out to my backline for healing, because by then the fight is practically over.

Getting good at hawkeye is so nice, especially on klyntar with the first point long line of sight. You can start out spawn camping and before anyone can get to you you can fall back to long range highground and as long as you keep picking off sups, they cant take point really without a strange portal

Adam Warlocks looks good to anyone who doesnt play support. His burst and sustain healing just isnt enough to keep teammates alive when theyre focused. The CD on his heal is just too long and the soul bond doesnt last long enough. The rez is crazy powerful but in practice Rockets BRB is more practical as its up way more often.

The soul bond completely denies most Ults and all dive characters for it's duration, the heal gets people to full health in seconds, plus good damage and a team rez, plus I do play him in play occasionally, he's one of the best

Hawkeye's explosives arrows are perfect for when you get caught in a narrow room and have no time for Archer's Focus. Knock Spidey back with his sword swipe and then spam explosives at the diver's feet. It has gotten me way more kills than trying to nail the hail mary headshot with his charged arrow in a 4x4 room. Then again, my aim isn't the best.

The arrows are for breaking things. Like walls above the capture zone. You can surprise other snipers like that quite often in bronze matches at least. Also I use them to create shortcuts and panic grouped enemies when im undermanned

dynamite arrows are good for opening up new sniper angles. i feel like breaking the environment at the beginning is overlooked in this game. yea it all gets broken over time but having those angles and winning even the first few fights can change the whole game

People really sleep on Adam Warlock. He might not have the best healing output, but he has the best healing burst which is far more valuable. Not to mention that soul bond is very similar to Mantis/Luna's ultimates in terms of strength if used correctly, it can mitigate so much damage if you use it near enough teammates. His damage is absolutely nuts for a strategist (but it requires good aim), I won a lot of matches by solo sniping the enemy supports/dps leaving them in a number disadvantage. On top of that, his ultimate can revive teammates like the old Mercy (but I see a lot of Adam players using it without having soul bond ready or waiting for a full team wipe instead of using it when 1-2 teammates died during a teamfight), as well as his passive can give yourself a second chance and can be used in synergy with Mantis.

Idk whose idea it was to give him a stationary target that guarantees hits on multiple enemies but I love it 😂

I haven't played the game tons yet so my opinion might not mean anything. But I think Loki is a fantastic hero. I have tried multiple characters and multiple supports. And I have the highest win % of any character on Loki. Now I don't know if I would solo heal a match on Loki, since he's more about utility/tactician than a pure healer. He's better for duo heal matchups. Loki if played well is impossible to pin down since he can stealth and or teleport to a clone. He's amazing at defending a point because he can drop 2 clones and use his ground AoE rune heal and cover an entire point. And Loki might have the best ult in the game. I have used Looks ult to steal Hela, or punisher or moonlight and wipe an entire team. Or if you need to clear out a point I've copied Jeff's ult and just swallowed a team and moved them off a base. Or one time I copied an Adam warlock ult and rezzed two players on my team. Like Loki just seems perfect as a backup choice for a team with two healers. Plus his clones can actually block damage so Loki can kind of tank, heal, and DPS if you think about it. Literally the perfect character to play if you're the type of person who wants to fill whatever is needed at any given time

Honestly this game surprised me. From my personal experience after playing a bunch of games with and against a bunch of different heros/villains no one character seems too weak or too OP to me. This is the first video ivd watched in the game bc moon knight was doing me dirty with them around the corner shots and i wasnt even aiming for him i was wondering how he hit me 😂😂😂😂😂. But honestly every single case has a place and can be annoying in the right hands with the right support. Everyone sleep on the Racoon but i almost never lose with him or jeff on my team. I used Scarlet Witch for the 1st time bc me and someone had a wild back and forth a few times during a match and they kept getting me. She has her flaws but ive also had some of my best offensive outputs with her she can be overwhelming with support i was just racking up damage at an unreal rate. Hela is a good all around check to most threats and if your aim is steady she can do damage short range. But every single character in this game has been a geat help or a great pain in my side. Like all lol. Jeff? Hate or Love. Same with Iron man or Groot. Wolverine, Iron Fost, Venom, Hulk and Black Panther force you to have your close combat game on point bc they can wreck you quick and close in fast. Spiderman and Captain America in the right hands are the 2 characters that are the most unpredictable and difficult to deal with in 1 V 1 or 1 V 2/ 2 V 2/ 2 v 1 situations. Thats just to name a few. Cant ask for much more lol

This shouldn’t be a hot take, but venom might be the least valuable tank at a high level. I agree with everyone else on this list, but I’d put magneto in there over venom. I think venom just doesn’t have utility that every other tank has, and his ult might be the weakest of the tanks. Cap and hulk can at least be picked in certain situations like for team ups or when other heroes are banned, and for good ults. Cap survivability and hulk ult are way better for stalling. Thor is probably the best tank to use to dive the enemy back line and actually apply damage. The others are all just way better defensively or playing with the team.
