At one minute mark you make a great point that many believe slipping is just side to side. Which it is not. Slip forward at an angle first to avoid the punch 🥊! Coach Anthony is truly a pro! Great professional boxing 🥊 coach! My skills will improve from watching and learning from you. Thanks!

My favorite kinda defense along with footwork. These just look good to watch, feel good to execute, makes distance judging difficult for the other guy and makse your opponent feel bad for hitting air(tires'em out faster).

Whackowitch Astrology I'm glad you enjoyed the video I used to believe in astrology until they changed me from a Aries to pieces I'm done with astrology now lol
@silversunastrology8 жыл бұрын
Oh no, nothing changed. That's just bogus stuff from people who don't even study astrology. They are trying to make it look like it's nonsense. Most of the horoscopes in newspapers and magazines are not written by astrologers either, they're just creative writers who usually don't even believe in astrology.

Coach A, first of all I'd like to say I absolutely an addicted to your videos and immensely appreciate your professionalism and attention to detail and technique. Fixing to place my first order with you. My question though is what's your opinion on the peekaboo stance and its pros and cons pertaining to a fighter with a shorter stocky type body frame. Would also LOVE to know any and all tips and tricks you may have for us fighters with shorter T-Rex arms!!! LMAO My power is decent and if I'm using good form and technique even more so but every single guy I spar with or have faced in boxing, mma, or the street have a reach advantage - sometimes an insane advantage. I'm constantly using my footwork, slips ... to close and create angles but I'm no expert and the guys I currently train with are all outstanding grapplers and great muaytai fighters but arent great teachers of all the little nitpicky aspects of boxing that make all the difference between being decent or being a truly good fighter. Anything I can maybe do or add to my punches and or combos to get a little more reach or distance out of them??? Thanks bro - dont ever stop!!!

Love you vids brother real good for my stand up game in MMA. I just wondered with that specific varaition would that slip in Boxing shown in the vid be dangerous for mma beacuse of the counter high kick? Is there another variation you use for a slip, loving the U roll too! You the man!
