I get all bummed out and really feel like shit about the way things are going, I watch a handful of your YT videos and instantly it puts things in perspective and makes me feel as I have so much value. Corey, please more advice like this! This is one of your best! It's hard dealing with women that seem to be "testing addicts". I think they're conditioned by weak men willing to following them. They just keep going back to testing. They don't seem to know what to do when a guy won't fall in line. Thanks again, keep'em coming.

So much truth in this video. I literally just received a text from a girl I used to date a few months back who recently got in touch with me. After a few texts back and forth I asked if she fancied meeting up sometime this week and of course I receive the "I'm too busy with work etc" speech with no mention of a rain check or anything. I just replied "No problem," It's safe to say she's been placed in the lowest possible rung of my priority ladder. Why are some girls such awkward/confusing ass holes?

I needed this video, I've been through the book at least 12 times and this girl got me so comfortable I started to slide. 10-15 times for most people more like 20 times if your attachment style is anxious. Their are videos identifying the 4 attachment styles and you mix that info with Corey and you will be unstoppable from your real potential. Every time I fall off the horse and come back to Corey it's like my eyes are opened to what I didn't want to admit to myself. I remember one year at electric forest I was so tired, beat up, and sore but kept burning it down all night long becasue AT THE END OF THE DAY, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DO SOMETHING YOUR GONNA DO IT. Tired when it's used as a reason to not see you is just an excuse for YOU ARE A LOW PRIORITY.

*This video beautifully illustrates what I struggle with!*. The question is, if a women treats you like this and "Tests" you then is she even worth your time for another shot at a relationship? If she's treating you like a second class citizen (even though you enabled her) will she just not do it again? Isn't this an unhealthy woman you should just stay away from? Maybe I need to read the book again because I just cant seem to wrap my head around this.

I needed this today. This has been the last 2 months of my life. I know a lot of you are praying for any kind of contact from your ex, but be careful what you wish for. "I miss you" does not necessarily equal "I want you back", and can go on and on and on.... She txted me again today and asked me to come over. For the first time in 2 months I had the strength to say no. It feels strange to me but after 2-3 months of virtually no progress, it's time to start trying something different. "Eh..Ehh...fk it!"....one of my all time favorites. Thanks for the much needed laugh 😊

I don't agree with this to a certain extent. The only reason I would take a girl back that dumped me would be if I still had a decent attraction to her and wanted her and the girl I'd be dating currently wasn't all that. Other than that I'd just keep moving forward. If I wasn't good enough for her back then, what changed that she all of a sudden wants me again? And say I have a good girl that I'm dating now, as if I'm going to hurt her and leave her lay to go back to a girl that didn't appreciate me enough to stay with me in the first place, no thank you. I wouldn't give her the time of day, I wouldn't leave a good girl and lose her then possibly lose the other girl again in the end anyways. Could that make me sound like "well what if I never find another girl?" I can see it, but to me it's an integrity thing. If I wasn't good enough for you back then, what makes me all of a sudden good enough now? You strung me along and ended up hurting me, I moved on, deal with it, go waste another guy's time.

I got the ‘I see more as friends’ TWICE from the same girl after dating for a month or so if two separate occasions. Hi Corey! Great subject and I have a prime example recently of what you meant. I had this girl friend for quite sometime back in my home town. I was never attracted to her and just wanted to be friends. So anyways, last Saturday she invites herself down here (I live 50 miles away). She had recently broken up with her ex in late July. We went walking, then to dinner. At dinner she kept on talking and talking negatively about this guy. I was quite upset about that and felt annoyed for days after. Long story short, I confronted her and said it seemed like she was looking "For a rebound". She denied that a couple of times, but when she came down she was not wearing a bra and also wearing short shorts. I was intrigued until that dinner talk. but after that it was a wrap. When I talked to her last week, she was short over the phone. I told her not to talk about her ex. I advised her to not even answer his texts and be decisive and end it. In one e-mail she said she was in SF (that's where her "EX" lives) for a work party and "got too lost to get to her meeting" thereafter. I think all of this is total BS. And I made the decision to not do anything with her or talk to her from here on out. Did I do the right thing? Again I'm not attracted to her but wanted to give her some friendly advice.

Damn man my pickup game is sooo strong, but once it gets serieus i fuck up the signals soooo hard... This girl i've been dating for 3 months was head over heels in love with me, since i was her crush like way back even when she had a boyfriend cause i know her for a long time... we got together i did everything right to the point she was so sure of me, then i started to be cocky and we got into a lot of fights, cause i wanted to show her that i don't approve to getting jerked around, but she was blowing up my phone about how i never text and never call her, then was crying for attention, after a while we got in fights every week, every fight we had i just didnt text or call and she came back the day after, but last week she said she was unsure of us, i told her that i don't wanna hear her until she is sure, but yet she kept texting me and called me in the middle of the night, and i felt like i couldn't ignore her either... so i was really confused, after 2 days i told her that i'm really confused and i don't understand what's going on and we got into a fight once again, she broke up with me and now is suuuuuper cold, i know the best thing to do is to pull away and just wait for her response, but dang man girls can go from hot to cold soooo fast

3:24 Life is a constant stream of negotiations. In any negotiation, you should know your outcome and the minimum terms you would except before walking away from the deal or relationship. If you don’t, you will perpetually be disappointed, not get what you want, and have people walking all over you. *You don’t get what you deserve in life, only what you negotiate.*

ReHi Corey: As that 71 year old lurker here, it's too bad you weren't around when I was about 13, but now after 30+ years of marriage (no kids and not the average marriage, and medical issues both sides) Ias one who loves his public speaking, I get a kick out of how you present your material, but also I can analogize most of it and transpose the roles, m pore or less to many pother interpersonal episodes that superficially have little or nothing to do with actual dating. Also, as I speak 3 languages, I can also transpose some of the psychological layers in the parlance into French or Spanish - all in a city where there are easily some 80 languages, multi-generation in a day. Sometimres I say to a person "There WAS a time when I went around with a black cloud over my head. Then one day, as only a silent observer, I saw two other seemingly normal people trying to resolve a dispute. I was very surprised and curious, thinking "These two people are going about thoier dispute in the worst way possible to solve it what gives? I thought _I_ was the one who was always wrong!" Then after a poignant moment of thpought it dawned on me: "Just because number 1 may be wrong doesn't make number two right!" That was the END of the "Black Cloud!" moreover it was only the beginning pof a lot more independent personal research into the ACID truth, la Verdadura! of the interpersonal. I would estimate that was more than 35 years ago, so one might well imagine what "Verdaduras" I have exorcised since. But for what I do with it? ¡ Haber comapsión es la hija de han sida sofrie ! Noone would need to understand a word of Spanish, on hearing that with my cvpoice,. to know there is a lot more than the words to that? To have compassion is the daughter of having suffered! I think we both know what I could have been, but why not, THAT is yet another story!

Unless you have kids at home/babysitter, bringing your phone on a date is a mistake to begin with. Leave it in the car that way you don't hear or feel texts or calls and are distracted by other women chasing you. And why would even bother with someone who dumped you other than for a quickie?
