I´ve never been a nice guy with girls, never gave them flowers or gifts (before a formal relationship), but also never let myself to be treated like garbage, when I invite a girl its only once, if she does not answer or says no, good for her, I move on, if she regrets or simply feel like dating with me, is up to the girl, but I´m not asking twice. And the truth is that when you give them too much attention and please them, they just change and treat you like a dog, so, be respectful with yourself, no woman on earth is as worthy as to loose your dignity, there is popular phrase in my country that reflects what I mean "to women not all your love, not all your money" you don't have to be a jerk or unrespectfull with women, but your priority and the first person you have to take care of is you.

Everybody has at least once. I don't know that anyone is totally "Alpha" 100 percent of their life. Nobody I know, fits that bill. I know a lot of people who would like you to believe that is true, but I don't think it is. More likely we evolve as I did, out of necessity from being burned so many times. You can either be the poor sap who is manipulated by women or you can learn to manipulate women for what you want out of them.

Women that like douchbags end up alone, elderly and full of regret. Women that recognize life is not a Hollywood movie will keep her man one that is nice to her and treats her with value and admiration will end up growing old together with a life long companion that has spent his life showing her how much he loves her and has taken care of her. Life is not a stupid Discovery Chanel nature documentary, the fact that men are reduced to Alpha and Beta males is offensive we all have moments of great courage, strength, anger, weakness, sadness etc. If women want an insensitive, emotionally absent, narcissistic douche bad boy, go visit prisons, they have thousands of these types there.

It's not about woman not appreciating men being kind and generous. It's about physiological attraction, you don't have a choice if you feel attracted or not. If a male displays weakness and is ultimately a beta male, even if he is incredibly nice and generous, it won't matter because on a primal level he is a weak, unattractive man that can't protect her or make her feel safe and comfortable, and she will want to look elsewhere and find a man that can. By the way, you don't need to be an inconsiderate narcissist to be a confident alpha male ... A man can be confident , sure of himself and live his life with abundance while still being a caring and compassionate man. This whole anti masculinity movement is a fallacy as it goes against basic human evolution and physiology.

Dear Coach Corey, I haven't replied much to your videos because I'm still taking in all of the info - I am fascinated with human behavior and you are confirming what I have known for a long time but I appreciate you going the extra mile to tell us how to pull it all together and put it into practice. I admire the fact that unlike other dating coaches that think they are the shit, you have the humility to share your life experiences in hopes that you may help us all avoid those mistakes. To all the nice guys out there myself included - You can be nice, but you need to understand that being "nice/kind" and saying "yes" are not necessarily the same thing - The girl may think she knows what she wants, but you have to give her what she NEEDS (If she treats you like shit, guess what? Her actions have consequences!) Corey's example about his "friend" doing $16,000-$17,000 worth of damage to his precious car he worked so hard to get could not be more POWERFUL. If you let people walk all over you throughout your life, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BAD IT CAN GET....It can always get worse!!

So what you are saying is being a human doormat beta-male is a bad thing? You don't say. Being a decent guy is different than being a "Nice Guy". Be decent to people, but the reason these alpha males are able to use people is because they can. Stop being a doormat, stop letting people use you.
@UltraTribes7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't want to be with a girl that doesn't accept me for being a 'nice guy'. I am nice and respectful to everyone unless they give me a reason not to. I'm not pushy, I don't talk down to anyone, and I don't go out of my way to make others feel like a lesser person for no reason. In my opinion, that's what makes a good person, and a good person deserves to be with another good person.
@UltraTribes7 жыл бұрын
@Classic It's too bad that people like me don't belong in society. Apparently, I think and act the opposite of what is considered normal, therefore I am not desired by women, and not respected by men. What's the point of even being here?
@UltraTribes7 жыл бұрын
I've done over a hundred hours of research. Trust me, I know. All I can tell you is that confidence doesn't just fall out of the sky. I've spent my whole life sheltered from society, doing whatever my parents tell me to do. I was never taught how to provide a life for myself. You don't just flip a switch and recover from that.
@TiramoanaTaia7 жыл бұрын
I lot of young girls equate the word "nice guy" to mean a pushover, weak winded, defenceless etc. Even though that may not be necessarily true, it's what they do. It's good that you're nice, respectful etc. Don't be a pushover though, pushovers is what most girls fear in guys (trust me I'm a girl, I definitely know). You can still be nice/respectful etc, but the number 1 thing a majority of girls check for is their ability to stand up for themselves, take control etc.
@UltraTribes7 жыл бұрын
I'm really not sure what you mean by that. In what way would I be a push over? Like, them telling me to buy a bunch of shit for them or what? I want a nice girl that isn't going to try to maliciously manipulate me. Not that I'd get sucked into that to begin with. I'm not a push over, I just don't know how to be social. Being nice means not treating people like garbage. I try to explain this to people, but they just don't understand that I've literally never spoken to a random girl before.
@TiramoanaTaia7 жыл бұрын
+UltraTribes What I'm saying by pushover is, that girls generally don't want somebody they can walk all over. They want the man to be a man, a lot of girls confuse nice to equal weak (even though that's not true) Pushover can mean anything, like you guys both want to go to a different place for dinner, and so without hesitation you 'side' with her just because you don't want to hear backlash about why you're 'wrong'. I wasn't saying you're a pushover, I was just saying make sure you aren't a pushover because that generally turns girls away.

Hi All, There is an amazing book that tackles the nice guy syndrome indepth- it's called "no more mr nice guy" by Dr. Glover. It starts with childhood- an overbearing mother coupled with a abscent, passive or abusive father. This creates the conditions for the nice guy. The mother connects her "emotional hose" up to the son, resulting in a unnatural lean towards the feminine. There is also a shame filled environment of blame which results in the need to seek approval and wanting to always "smooth things out". Nice guys often lie a lot as they feel the need to hide a lot of flaws or things they think might result in shame or blame or disapproval from a partner . The book also dives into- breaking free activities like learning to say no, gaining more male friends...and so on.. It's a must read as the truth is the nice guy syndrome impacts career success, friendships, dating, sense of self etc. Truly life changing. (Its on audible)
@tetsuokima62598 жыл бұрын
Dude... This is so depressing. It's hard to even want to learn how to win when the shame of losing for so long has ingrained itself into you. Eventually you just force yourself to accept it and move on. Even though the urges are still there it's nothing you can do about it because you know the end results. It just seems like a waste of time because at some point the expectation has changed. It's no longer optimism but, pessimism. It's no longer a feeling of excitement like a birthday present but, a feeling of annoyance like being stuck in traffic. You don't really have a choice to be there but, you have to wait it out because it's going to end eventually. You feel trapped in a biological pattern you wish would go away. Then the hate comes. Then the anger and passive aggressive behavior from the past hurt. It's just better to avoid all the pain and walk than keep taking the same road because you are too stubborn to change who you are. No... Because you are too stubborn to accept what you would have to let go of to get what you always wanted. It's become apart of you. The shame has made you what you are today. And as sick as it sounds, you like it. It didn't reject you. It didn't use you. You and it are one. You think it has made you stronger. When the truth is that it's just a bandage you refuse to take off. Even though you have healed. Because... Because you don't want to face the scar it left behind. Because you want to keep pretending you are perfect and nothing is wrong. Because you are afraid. I don't know if I'm done being afraid. Even though I know there is nothing to fear. I'm just not done hiding. My strength is my fear.

Everybody knows and hates that guy that asks favors and ends up screwing up others lives and yet never is capable of taking any accountability! One of the key things is "integrity", at the end of the day chics with little to know integrity will do or same damn near anything to their advantage... Often times just to keep you or other dudes around and feed their own insecurities meanwhile looking down upon you as a sucker for falling for it. Sometimes being able to finally realize and see this is the clarity you need, if you don't act upon it is your own bad business.

It's all biology! Humanity still got these "Alpha" genes, which ultimately result in what we know of todays society. This is why most women prefer the "alpha" / "bad boy" instead of being in love with a true "nice guy", who'd at least love her unconditionally no matter what flaws she might have. (That's what she said... =) ) Blame our ancestors and the extreme form of feminism, that has taken part in the last 60 years, for changing the norms so that the average normal guy of today resembles a fuckin "fifth choice" (if he's lucky... XD)!!! *NOT all women are "conditioned" to their genetics though!!!!!!! As i've seen many average couples having a serious relationship filled with commitment and passion. The biggest problem is that the media, which has a big effect on the majority of people, kind of manipulates our subconsciousness into believing that the way how society acts and lives nowadays is the written dogma. A unchangeable law. It's contraproductive to humanity imho!!!

This partially has to do with the woman's own immaturity, and you as the man's inability to get what you want out of the relationship. Communication is key, if you can't communicate and read her efficiently, then of course you're going to get friendzoned. Because she doesn't even recognize you're interested in her, in some cases you're unawaringly REJECTING her. Some women are mature enough to pick up on even the subtlest of signs, most aren't

I can decide whether to agree or disagree. I'm definitely a classic nice guy; put myself second, don't think I deserve to be listened to, let someone else get what I want if that someone else wants it. Deferential. But. I've got a gorgeous girlfriend, a top (3%) job and a small circle of good friends. But I don't feel I deserve respect even if I get it. I usually act like I don't. Maybe that's the key. Feeling I deserve it.

There is a difference a big ONE between being polite and being a doormat. Polite is like saying have a nice weekend. Being a doormat is making a steak dinner for her with candlelight at your home. A hired guitarist playing a slow romantic love song. And she spits out the steak saying this meat is moo cow blue just like your balls are going to be.. as she walks out while texting her man on the side.

I came to his work because my desire to get my ex back, I made all the mistakes typical clueless men make, enough of them to drive a great girl out of my life, used logic, was not a good listener, always tried to find solutions for all her problems. And then to put the iseing on the cake I annoyed the shit out of her when she told me that it was over, looking back she really gave her all into our relationship, I can't say she did not, she had low self esteem and made some mistakes such as I did, but she was the best girl I had so far, treated me well like her man, respected me and genuinely cared for me. I bought your book and I came to the realization that I was to much of a nice guy not only with my exs but at work also. I have always been the 'go to guy' or should I say go to bitch, when someone needs something done or someone of a higher rank but still the same job type just feels lazy to do something. I've been the guy that takes up the task.. after all this I knew that I had to change... Been listening and reading and learning... and applying what I learn to work, and its made me so far a heck of a lot more respected, people don't come to me with silly requests or give me smart comments and if I ask them to do something for me they do it with out much issue. They trust my leadership and drive. I got a lot more to learn from you, to kill the rest of this shy nice guy bullshit that is left in me. My set of balls are definitely growing... thanks for everything Corey.

Most guys mix up "being nice" with "being idiots". Tread your girl as if she was you homie, add up a little romantic stuff here n then & (to quote Xzibit) "make sure it's the one you gonna make your wife". Everything else follows automatically.

Me and my girl are going through a separation stage..We have a 1 year old child together and we had a bad argument over things she felt I wasn't accomplishing towards home chores and it got really bad. I try to help as much as I can but she doesn't do anything to meet my needs so I packed up and left. She takes me for granted but since I packed she has been crying a lot and I know it hurt bad..and leaving hurt me also. I don't know how long I should keep this distance..

Yeah, nice guys aren't really nice, they're dudes who lack the backbone to stand up for themselves & the cojones to make a move. Women give you a small window of opportunity to prove you're a man & not a mouse. If you don't put your beaver basher in her, or your foot down, at the appropriate moment, she'll put you in the category of insignificant rodent scurrying beneath her floorboards.

Hi Corey... RE: When women say "I love you" etc... its TRUE..... but it only applies IN THAT MOMENT.... I believe turnabout is fair play.... If a guy says to a girl I will provide for you [provisioning, etc] at say a wedding.... Can he turn around and say " Its True... but that only applied IN THE MOMENT" -- not after 12 years of marriage that either (or both of us) are contemplating divorce.... You've spoken favorable of men in the service... can they go back and say after enlisting [or re-enlisting] that my vow to serve for X # of years was sincere -- but ONLY APPLIED in the moment..... Aren't women fully formed adults responsible for their actions including verbal commitments vows pledges and promises.... or children who have orafices we desire and thus get a special pass to run on emotions -- and do shit that would NEVER BE TOLERATED by a man?!

I catch myself either being too nice or too alpha. And I attract real beautiful women like 9s 10 every once in a while . So I guess it’s just really mastering keeping keep your head on a swivel and not getting in your feelings too soon. That’s all. It’s the slip ups. It’s crazy but yeah you get more respect when you treat them like they’re just another option Lol

Much easier said than done. When all your adult life, women have seen you as just a friend, because you're too empathetic and kind. I don't want to change who I am, but I don't know how to be with women if I stay the same, either. It's a conundrum.
@freecreator64267 жыл бұрын
I have the same dilemma : Why should I change myself just to be suitable with a girl? , but after thinking i found an answer: You must change yourself only if you see that you'll become better independently, only if YOU are convinced of the necessity of changing your way of seeing things. I hope my opinion helps you

YES!!! This is my problem also. Do I change my personality, become the bad boy/asshole just to get girls? Or do I hold onto my morals and never get laid and always get used. I've only been in love once and it was very short. The girl was beautiful, smart and passionate, but she did treat me like a doormat. Hindsight is 20/20.

Anyone can be a nice guy, even a bad guy in disguise as a nice guy. Women want a good man, with good morals and is nice. It's very hard to find a very nice guy these days that has good morals , values and genuinely is a good guy. My husband is a very blunt guy he's not nicey nice, he smokes, and not sure on how he is with his values .

i knew this one lad when i was about 18. We laughed and joked at our work and i was sure we saw each other as friends, i thought so but i was never good at reading behind any lines, subtuly is not my best skill, if someone likes me they need to come out and tell me and i can adjust myself to them and decide what to tell them. Anyway, so then i dated this other fella, he was charming and full of himself - i was with him for six months just about. Afterwards this other guy comes back on the scene and i wasnt ready to date let alone let him touch or hug me because the other guy had abused me so i kept squirting my body spray in good humour to stop him getting so close - i didnt wanna tell him to back off until i had to, but he was there for me and i thought we were good friends until he said that he liked me. He was quite overweight and he wasnt someone who i would date and go out with - i told him i did not feel the same way and told him he was a friend. And i knew he was struggling with that but he still wanted to hang out with me and we'd eat out and meet in the town, we'd make each other laugh and talk for ages and slowly i found that i did like him back but was embarresed to tell him. He was overweight as i say and it didnt bother me before up until then - so i told him, and then we met up and dated privatly but he was someone who i felt comfortable with and i needed that, i felt if push came to shove id be the one defending him - not that he wouldnt defend me, i doubt that hed let me get hurt but hed get beaten up pretty bad - because he was never a fighter. Esp because he told me that some young lads threw his glasses on the train tracks at birmingham, and told me that he went on the rails to go and get them!! If i was there id have not let him get on those tracks, i would have pinned him back with all my strength and id have shouted at those boys proper id have got really angry im not always great at defending myself but when its someone i care about.... I told him that could have cost him his life that a train could have been only coming the other way and all he said was those are my only glasses and i needed to be able to see!!
@alcudiababe18 жыл бұрын
i will say with this guy and i liked him, we did kiss and do other stuff but not enough to have sex with him. And i remember going on holiday with him and his mom and sister and his mom thought it was a great idea for him to sleep in her room so we didnt get up to any funny buisness - so i was sharing with his sister big mistake that was towards the end of the week, his sister was the dealbreaker. But he did think he was going to get it on the one night and he bought some condoms i saw him push them into his pocket earlier on and as soon as i saw them i told myself that wasnt going to happen, anyway he came to my room all in a panic late that night. Hed only dropped the condoms in front of his mom. So i went into the other room trying to fix the situation, i cared about him i really did but i felt like saying to his mom im never going to sleep with your son. And even after the holiday and i broke it off we always remained friends but he needed to be able to get to a place to do that, but it was possible - we led our own lives and it was a couple of years ago i found that hed passed away. My mom thought it was because if his size. I was told on that day he was going to propose to someone but he collapsed inthe town and went into a coma. And its no bulshit. And although we dated but i still really cared about him as a friend, and i was never guna see him munching on a sausage roll in town. I did care.
