i love what you said about not being as embarrassed or ashamed to be seen filming anymore. sounds like being immersed with influencers had positive effects. from my objective perspective, it seems like if you could find a way to ride the line between your normal grounded life and still have a foot in the influencer world it would be the best way to maintain balance and mental health. it makes sense that it can be nice to be in the “normal” world but then also be around others who can relate to what you do

I clean houses for work, so I’m always listening to content on my headphones. I was exposed to you through CHD, and have listened ever since! Youre so multidimensional and honest and transparent as in real not fake. I’m 25 F , 45min outside Chicago. Northern IL gets some brutal winter months (but since 2018 way warmer) so humbling experience of cold pain and scraping ice off your car at 7am, an experience LA born n raised folks are missing… I’m Midwest proud for the authenticity of people around me :) no mountains or palm trees, but lakes and woodland prairies are beautiful.

I don’t know why everyone is so bothered about her moving, it’s not your life and you would have something to complain about if she stayed doing what she is doing now. I didn’t even think oh her contents going to change when I watched this until I looked at the comments. People should be more optimistic and supportive , it’s not your life get a grip.

Babes I need you to not get sucked into the very real mindset here on the west coast that LA can possibly represent the entirety of American culture and experience. Los Angeles itself is constantly watered down to an influencer-opolis when it’s actually an extremely diverse, historical, but oppressively expensive place with contradicting mindsets. Some of this is relevant to the rest of the US but as a person who grew up in Alabama but now I live in California- people here really think it’s the center of the universe sometimes and it makes sense when so much media and influence comes from here- BUT IT’S A TRAP BEWARE
@martynasirocka68918 ай бұрын
on one hand you moving to la is such a heartbreaking thing considering what other people said and seeing it myself (as america is changing you); but on the other - that's you inviting us into your life. not the other way around. we should respect your choices even if that means we are not going to enjoy it as much. i hope your new journey is going to be the best time of your life, don't make your choices based on youtube comments. your viewers opinion shouldn't change the course of your life

27:10 actually i really don't agree with this point haha. obviously i know what you meant there, you have to act differently depending on the type of people you're with, but i think that it's a bit of a problem to let everything slide on the basis that these people are celebrities and that you'd HAVE to be nice and not call them out. of course here you talked about a very minor situation so it's not that deep, but in general i think it reinforces rich people's entitlement and make them believe they can get away with anything. like if a person is being rude you (or your friend, or anyone for that matter) have every right to tell them off yk no matter if it's an unknown person or justin bieber...

Go check these out if you get a chance and vlog. Newport is barely touched by influencers partly because the closest in NYC, but also because the most powerful people in the world are in NPT.
