Very off topic, but this whole episode I couldn't stop looking at the logo in the bottom right and thinking that would look great embroidered on that seat, maybe a little smaller, but the colour combo rocks!

OMG I thought I was the only one who ever heard that story!!! They were roller skates in mine and they didn’t fit him anymore but it ended with the quote ‘ships in the harbour are safe but that’s not what ships are built for’

As an American I love when you talk about places that are like 1-2 hours away like it extremely far but in my hometown the nearest hospital is a 23 minute drive and the nearest major city to me is a 2 hour drive

I’m doing the same thing! Stay in Miami. I moved out of my place and im living in my car in the city because I want to walk on actual ground. I got seasonal depression reallly bad but I still hate the cold. You’re right that it’s nice sometimes but I just wanna walk on grass sometimes. Idk, you’re awesome

Hey Madeline, have you heard of a therapy techinque called IFS/heard of IFS therapists? In IFS, instead of you having just one massive peronsality, your personality is divided into different "parts" which are like different characters with their own personalities. IFS means internal family systems as it's like having a family of versions of yourself in your mind. And the different parts play different roles to try and protect so there are roles like firefighters, protectors, managers. For example last week you mentioned that you would have dates with "another person" that was also yourself, but now they bully you. That part may be a protector part and it is criticising you to protect you from judgement from others as it wants you to be safe. Different parts get triggered in different scenarios which can be why you might feel so different in different life situations. Usually parts "stand down" when they are given attention and communicated with, so maybe if you had a "conversation" with that bully part to find out what it wants, then gave it attention by having one of your own date nights, it might help. I remember you also wanted to find a therapist that would just explain why things years ago still affect you now, and in IFS this is a common thing they do. For example the therapist would likely say that when that thing years ago happened, it spawned a new "part" inside you which is now trying to protect you in the present moment. Sorry for psychoanalysis you out of the blue, but I thought it might help cause we have similar brains 😂

Tell me why the funniest quote from Sofia becomes the name of Alex’s brand. Someone please explain to me how her team allowed that. Obvi she’s an adult and no one will stop her, but it’s so fcking rude, everything I hear unwell it makes me uncomfortable. Could’ve branded with something funny from oneself instead of stealing . I’m weird but that shits weird

Her last podcast mentioned how she hated London as it was so scary and could not wait to leave, I doubt a 23 year old living with her mum has seen that much of the capital, her audience must be very young. She seems so self absorbed and says like every ten seconds.
