Dennis Rodman was one of the best rebounders of all time. He lead the NBA in Rebounding 7 years straight, highest rebounding average in a season, best REB % 8 seasons, got 1530 rebounds in one season, and did I forget to mention he was only 6'7 (the previous league rebounders were 7 ft plus). Now Rodman used unorthodox methods to rebound at his size at such a high caliber. But maybe those fundamental breaking techniques are the secret to his success, maybe its time Rebounding has its own revolution!

Delete this video. I don't want any competition. Rebounding is often the gift you can bring to a team that already has scoring, shooting, and defense. Rodman is the MVPOAT.

Ranking someone as the best is a tough endeavor. A case can, for sure, be made that Rodman was the best, but really there's no way to prove it. So let's put that to the side for a moment. I've watched many KZbin highlight clips of Russell, Chamberlain, Walton, and Abdul-Jabbar, but what I do feel confident claiming is that you will not find anyone other than Rodman who was so incredibly determined to snag each and every rebound. I've never seen that hunger he displayed in any other player. Keep in mind that he was shorter than those others I just mentioned, too, AND he was still a prolific rebounder well into his upper 30s. The man was simply insane on the boards. Oh, one last thing: Rodman made rebounding look so COOL, as well. He had style in his rebounding. 👍

There's no question that Dennis Rodman is one of the best defenders in NBA history. He won the Defensive Player of the Year award twice, and it's fair to say that Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls wouldn't have solidified their golden dynasty without him.

When I play pickup all I do is rebound, defense and layups. I get a lot of satisfaction in getting a rebound and there’s a true art to boxing out and or manipulating the body of your opponent.

Fr offense is fun but I love fighting all game it’s a lot more involved
