In today's video, I give you three of my most elite level basketball rebounding tips to help you rebound the basketball better! These tips work for players of all sizes and skill levels so that means you don't even have to be the tallest or most athletic jumper on your team to get more rebounds! This video about simple basketball rebounding tips and drills is super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these basketball rebounding drills into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your overall basketball skill level!
The first tip when it comes to rebounding is all about timing your jump! This seems simple but if we look at the best rebounders in NBA history guys like Charles Barkley and Dennis Rodman, they always made sure to time the jump to reach the ball at it's highest point! Timing is especially important if you aren't a great jumper to make sure you break free of the box out to go retrieve the rebound! So if you want to really skyrocket your basketball rebounding the first step is to do all your reps in practice at full game speed.
My second tip to snagging more rebounds is to think about the direction of the shot. More often than not the rebound will of long off of the rim which means that where ever the shot comes from you want to to position your body on the other side of the basket. If we look at the guys who really are dominant on the glass they all do a great job of positioning themselves on the opposite side of the shot to give them the best statistical chance to grab the rebound! Implement this tip and you will find yourself snagging more rebounds almost immediately!
My last tip to elite level basketball rebounding is to hold your block out. This seems self explanatory but we breakdown a new way to hold your block out that is far more effective than the traditional way of blocking out. Make sure you pay close attention to the new technique because this is some thing that players at every level can implement. Make sure to use this and start getting more rebounds!
As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball rebounding tips and drills so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through snag more rebound with these elite level basketball rebounding tips today!

i been playing street ball for two decades but i keep tabs on what i hear coaches tell me what they want out of players and what i wanted as an amateur coach in my younger years . i told my son most coaches want to see a rebounder who passes. Lots of players want to score almost no one wants to rebound and pass. So my son does this and makes the team but he dont want to play now because he is not having fun. It worked though.OH yeah and always stay between the player and the basket as a general rule its called boxing do it 24/7

My highest official score in a game is 8 points only but my rebound records is always 2 digits both defensive and offensive. I'm not bragging, but I am role player I played as a center and power forward my only tactics is grab the rebound and pass as fast as possible to a team that shoot well (for offensive rebound) and to a team who run fast for fastbreak (defensive rebound) I only score if I am free under the rim or messed around in final quarter when our lead is so high😂 I am not athletic or tall but I always been getting invited to play because I am doing my job and not the type of player who show off

Would you get more rebounds if one player is one ones side of the hoop so that if the someone misses and it goes towards them, that player can get. And then another player is on the other side of the hoop so that if the someone shoots and misses and the ball starts going towards that same someone, the player already there would have a greater chance of getting the ball

As an overweight guy you have to box out guys and not get into jumping competitions with guys you don't even need to be the guy that gets the ball just create an obstacle so that guys can't get near the ball and have your playmaker pick it up Steven Adams is great at doing this.
