Hi Jon I really enjoyed that. I like the kind of fishing that makes me think and work things out on the day. I will pay that fishery a visit one day the fishing looks pretty good and wasn’t it there did your baked bean challenge? Kindest regards Bill

Yes that was on a lovely little lake called Cliffs. Well worth a visit to Bishops Bowl!

Pleasure fishing they're bream, in a match they're only skimmers 😂
@JonArthur4 жыл бұрын
One day someone will come up with a definitive answer as to when a skimmer becomes a bream ha ha!

There's a video somewhere on KZbin of the late John "He He" Wilson catching a dozen or so big uns (up to 13lbs) from a "secret" Norfolk lake. They were definately "Bream". Another great video Jon.

Hi Jon, I want to try the pole feeder on my local reservoir can you give me any advice ?
@JonArthur4 жыл бұрын
I personally only use a 'pole feeder' on a flooded river as it can give better presentation on fast flowing venues. For stillwaters I'd stick to either a conventional pole attack or a feeder used with a rod and reel setup. The only exception is on snake-style lakes where the method feeder on a pole can work as a self-hooking tactic for carp, but even that has become much less popular these days.

As I,m not fishing at the moment my lovely wife has stolen my bait fridge to put her veggies in.! How do I get it back once this blooming virus goes?
@davetaylor88584 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, you could start a new trend by fishing single raddish.
