Great review. I’ve spoken to two regular match anglers I know who both have the MTX3 and have said there’s no better pole for that money. I know I’ll be buying one.

Hi Jon well I was one of the people to try this pole at the show and that fishery is my local commercial so I was interested in your video. Now that pole was always going to be a good performer at 13 mtrs with a match kit so what was it like with the power kit at that length? Now I now you are aiming this at match anglers but what about pleasure angler? Now most pleasure anglers can't afford this pole so how about a video using the base MTX1as this is what a lot of anglers are interested in, more in their price bracket I believe. First tried at Stoneliegh in one of the alleys, felt right! Got mine today, looking forward to elastication next going to try Slik. Don’t when I’ll get to use it 😷👍

So after a lot of research I decided that a budget of £2,500 would get me a brilliant pole. I kept being drawn to the MTX3 so after a lot of deliberation I decided on buying one and using the rest of my budget to get a full matrix set up. I got a fantastic deal from an independent dealer. These poles are now selling for the ridiculous price of £975 and I granted you won’t find a better pole sub £1,000

Why? We didn't fish at 16m. As Jon explained, the MTX3 at 13m and 14.5m is comparable to his MTX4! We're showing just how good this pole is for its price tag.
