So pleased I found this. Awesome scenery, great riding and some good old tough coaching. Shaun will thank you at the end because what he learns from you here will stand him in good stead for the future. He has done really well if he’s a relative newbie to green lanes. Great video.

He was very pleased with himself by the end, and so he should have been, he made a massive improvement in just a couple of days👍

Mate your confidence by the end was huge, and doing it on your big bike took balls. Maybe a more relaxed trip into Norfolk next with more cake and coffee stops!

I can remember when salter fell wasn’t the gravel motorway it is now, used to be very muddy and boggy. When the then Prince Charles used to go shooting grouse up there at abeystead, they would spend plenty of the dutchy’s estate money on stoning the track up. There is a Lancaster bomber somewhere up there on the fell that came down and crashed too.

Give the one piece rally seat a go. I did 350 miles on my bike one day and was super comfy.

Seat concepts make a huge difference plus the other thing I use if the weather is hot or wet is add a cool covers onto it - great part 1 - shall look forward to the next instalment. Way better then spending a fortune getting into ABR and riding around the grass and the bog of doom with the masses at 15mph

Am gonna order a SC seat when a get a moment to call them - wouldn’t be seen dead with one of those cool covers, my mate has one on his desert x and raves about it, but the ‘cool’ motocrosser in me (subjective…) just says they make you look like an old man (I am an old man…) and a wannabe GS riding tourer!…🤷🏼♂️🤓😇

@@twowheeledadventuresuk2739 tbf I thought that until I tried one in really hot weather - made a big difference at Hellas this year in 35 degree heat tho - balls didn't cook 😁

Nice vid Mike beautiful views. Let me know how you get on with the Seat Concepts Seat. Just back from Germany riding in the Black Forrest which was awesome while standing up but the road work to and from Hook of Holland was a bit painful on thy bot bot by the end of each day. Looking forward to part 2 bud.

It's a Hajker 24 - it's been great, very comfortable and waterproof. Also use it for a bit of hiking

Stand up and get your feet up instead of hanging them off like you are on a kids no pedal balance bike.

He knows that, buts it’s having the confidence to stand up, not easy for a beginner
