My two lads and I are lucky enough to have these lanes in our back yard we run them regularly each way I run a 990 R, that first section on the coach road is a little rough at first but once up that section the lane is ace.. as stated hit it at speed standing up and keep that momentum going and you’ll manage no bother…

So pleased I found this. Awesome scenery, great riding and some good old tough coaching. Shaun will thank you at the end because what he learns from you here will stand him in good stead for the future. He has done really well if he’s a relative newbie to green lanes. Great video.

He was very pleased with himself by the end, and so he should have been, he made a massive improvement in just a couple of days👍

I really enjoyed that. Having ridden in the Lakes quite a bit it was nice to see a different take on the lanes that I love so much. Not ventured into the rough yet with the R9T Scrambler as its shod with 90/10 road tyres. However after watching you both it's going to be TKC 70 front & TKC 70 ROCK on the rear now.... Thank you for helping make my mind up. Looking forward to Part 2 Cheers Mucka. Ride well & Stay Safe 🙂

I can remember when salter fell wasn’t the gravel motorway it is now, used to be very muddy and boggy. When the then Prince Charles used to go shooting grouse up there at abeystead, they would spend plenty of the dutchy’s estate money on stoning the track up. There is a Lancaster bomber somewhere up there on the fell that came down and crashed too.

As Sean is new to biking this will do him the world of good. I can remember coming off mid way in a puddle is was that deep me and the bike was totally submerged 😂😂funy as fk

Yeah he did really well, didn't want to stand up at first, wanted his stabilisers out, but he stuck with it and by the end he was a different rider. There are just some things you can't buy down the bike shop, you have to acquire them by sweat and hard graft

Hi great vid, from your I’ve downloaded os maps and been looking all afternoon studying little bits of your route and trying to make sense of it all haha, haven’t done much map work not going to lie. Following it bit by bit still looks like a lot of road work do you have to use your nose a bit when out there to get on the off road bits when you follow the map can see some of the tracks follow the road so you just jump on them or is it true ok the map and you skipped loads of the start on the vid not knocking great vid and bike also have a t7 👍🏻👍🏻 thanks
@twowheeledadventuresuk27396 ай бұрын
@@dannyhyland7360 I couldn’t show the whole route the vlog would be hours long and no one would watch it, so it’s just the highlights. If you use an app such as the OS map app you can literally see the byways and green lanes on the map and they have a specific style or symbol on the map, so it makes it easier to follow. I did a vlog over a year ago on planning routes and where you can legally ride, if you watch that I’m guessing it will help. Yes there is a lot of road but Norfolk has a lot of green lanes compared to many other destinations

Seat concepts make a huge difference plus the other thing I use if the weather is hot or wet is add a cool covers onto it - great part 1 - shall look forward to the next instalment. Way better then spending a fortune getting into ABR and riding around the grass and the bog of doom with the masses at 15mph
@twowheeledadventuresuk27397 ай бұрын
Am gonna order a SC seat when a get a moment to call them - wouldn’t be seen dead with one of those cool covers, my mate has one on his desert x and raves about it, but the ‘cool’ motocrosser in me (subjective…) just says they make you look like an old man (I am an old man…) and a wannabe GS riding tourer!…🤷🏼♂️🤓😇

Nice vid Mike beautiful views. Let me know how you get on with the Seat Concepts Seat.
