Thanks for sharing geese videos. I'm new to cycling but these videos are so inspirational. I'll perhaps have to start with some shorter routes from brum to wolves on similar. Thanks again

Really happy to hear the videos are inspiring you to get out on the bike. Yep definitely check out my other videos, I have some much shorter routes and a couple of circular routes now that have gone down well. Thanks for watching!

You can also find gpx routes pre planned online, and a paper map is purchasable from sustrans. I used both on my trip of the same route!

How did you find the route?

@@cyclingn8 really nice, there were plenty of things to see along the way and we stopped a night in Langley castle in Hexham. Also took a second trip to complete the rest of the route from Carlisle to Ravenglass around Cumbria which had amazing views!

@@Mupworp The West Cumbrian coast and coastal plain is really underrated. There’s a great train ride as well 😊

One day?!? Five for me and my little tent camping loaded Brompton! I like to stop and paint little watercolour sketches so that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it! 😁

It was a real push to get it done in one day, for me anyway! It would be nice to take three or four days and have time to stop and enjoy the surroundings. Thanks for watching!

I would like to do it again but take my time, didn’t get chance to enjoy what a pretty route it was!

I didn’t understand your comment at the end, that it might be better taking two days, but you were glad that you did it in a day?!? My experience in the area is that there is so much to take care in, both the scenery and the history.

Thank you for watching! I'm glad I completed the challenge of doing this in one day, I can now say I rode across the country in one ride. If I did it again i would take some more time because as you say there is a lot of history and scenery to take in.

Interesting video. I’m considering doing it as a charity ride, there and back. It really helped me get a feel for it. Is your route available as a GPX?
