Cadgwith, what can I say. I'm lucky enough to have visited over 40 countries now, but my "Emmet" heart belongs in this perfect place. I first visited Cadgwith in around 1963 and well remember the old fishermen sitting on the stick smoking their pipes and most of the younger ones (young back then anyway...), being utterly dismissive towards those of us who were just visiting the place. I say this not to offend anyone but to recognise the truth of the place. The cove is still a REAL fishing community, a working environment, not a tourist attraction - and long may it continue to stay as such. I only learned of this Crowdfunder effort through this excellent film of yours and have been happy to donate a little in order to save these buildings for those that work the boats and earn their living in those waters. Thanks for this film, and all your other excellent films.

This video today has made me long to be in Cornwall. The music you played during the drone parts just made my heart happy. To be able to see your part of the world would be a dream come true. If I didn't have 13 grandchildren that would wonder were their granny went I would be there in a heart beat to stay as long as I possibly could. I would love to just sit on one of those benches on the cliff and watch the waves and the water for hours. It is all probably just a dream though. I haven't barely left the house in a year because of this virus still raging here in the US. I have been doing all my shopping online since March1st 2020. But Good Lord willing someday this too shall pass and I can hop a plane and head that way. God Bless and stay safe and well. Thanks for taking me places from my very own computer chair.

If anyone wanted to see such a brilliant video of Cornwall’s beauty then they need to watch your video John. You visited some of my favourite places in cornwall in this video. Cadgwith is an amazing place and in the summer you should if you haven’t already take hanna and James to the bbq they have there such a brilliant atmosphere and lots of sea shanty singing by all the locals. As for kennack sands that’s one of my favourite beaches of all time. Great to fish for rays in the summer from that beach. If you had walked round the corner by where the water flows out the pipe there’s a lovely secluded part of the beach there, I think James would enjoy it.poltesco is an amazing yet eerie beach I find especially when it’s covered in a thick layer of kelp but the downside to that is there are loads of flies there. The footage with the drone was again stunning and I can’t wait to be living down there in a year or so. Once again thanks for an amazing video could have watched it for hourdps mate. Cheers and take care 👍👍👍👍👍

Lava bread is a West Wales delicacy, remember trying it as a kid on a trip to the Mumbles, green sludge that tasted bog awful that's my everlasting memory.

Just sublime!!! The family and I have visited this end of Cornwall since the 1960's. But probably not this year, so thank you. Also I enjoy the game, guess where John is today ? when you go fishing.

I can’t wait for it to be warmer here so I can take a stroll around here. We are not getting a break at all in the weather 🤨 I hate this time of year, never stable to plan a little bit 🙄 On the bright side,we have your videos to watch 😬love this kind of videos when you show us some of the old buildings and stuff😃 You are doing a fabulous job on this video’s brother, all the best. Have a good one😃

We used to buy Kippered Herring (smoked herring) in a little flat tin in grocery stores here in Canada.Now it is the same tin but they hold kippered Sardines in this area. Not so many herring left I think. The sardines are good that way. Enjoying vid.
@TheFishLocker3 жыл бұрын
I much prefer Kippers to Sardines. Only problem is they stink the house out!! 🤣

Thanks for sharing your lovely walk, a pity that you didn't manage to get anything to eat. Cornwall is so different from my nearest North Norfolk coast, all part of what makes the UK such a wonderful place.
@TheFishLocker3 жыл бұрын
It's the time of year Tony. Summer time there will be more available closer to the shore. the rough weather we have had either makes it great, or barren. 🤷🏻♂️😊

I'm sure it was them guys I seen on that Cornwall fishing program. Some of the UK is just stunning. We really do have some of the best scenery in the world!! Brilliant as always mate. Well done!!!! 🎣🎣🎣

@@TheFishLocker thort so haha. You was saying in the video about why you go fishing. And said about its not just fishing its what comes with it. When I go sea fishing I feel a massive sense of freedom I don't get that with river or lake fishing there is just something very special about the sea. Wish I lived closer to the cost.

Brilliant as always, and I'll never get tired of the drone footage! Don't want to be a know all,but the bird at the beginning was a wren 🤦♂️🎣

I have a nice big stone of that same serpentinized peridotite in my house. I did a masters degree in mining geology at Camborne School of Mines and collected it while on a field trip.

You can forget about the 600lb tuna or 20lb bass. That piece of blue sea glass is the find of the century! Brown, green and white everywhere but blue......rare as hens teeth! My kids would go mad for that!!!
