The Underwater sea life and habitats here in Cornwall truly are incredible. You honestly never know what you might see. Trying to get in my first underwater dive of 2024 before the plankton blooms come in I explore a stretch of coast line above and below the water. Some incredible sea creatures and a couple of surprises made for a wonderful dive.

John. I absolutely love watching your channel. I enjoy watching your respectful, knowledgeable, and gentleness of how you return your catch to the sea. you aren't greedy with your hauls. Goodness the way some of the other youtubers rip things apart from their homes and if they aren't big enough they smack them back into the water not bothering to put them back gently into their homes, or the way they rip octapus off rocks they don't care if they rip off a tentacle or not, or gripping the razor clams out of their sand homes, so ruthless! Awesome job John!

John, you may recognize me, as I am a long time subscriber and you have responded to me. For some, I grew up in Old Orchard Beach, close to Scarborough. My dad is from an epicenter of a universe, Penobscot, Maine, where my grandparents had a homestead on the ocean. I built fishing boats, joined the navy as an avionics tech for the first Top Gun Squad, and then worked on lobstering, urchin and scallop dive boats, where things went among a bunch of things, like being a chef owner at clubs, and just so many experiences, my Mom wants me to write a book. Your knowledge of the natural world and species 'blows my mind', as in, this is unknown by most people stuff. I've been hobbying on geology the last couple years... Well wishes to all! The underwater world is always so magical. It's a good reminder on where all those creatures call home! Fun video, and you crammed all that in in one work day! Planning at all with the ebb and flow of the tides was key. Hard to really put into words at the dinner table what your day was like. And I can't imagine how good dinner was, OMG!
