Coastal Foraging - Lobsters, Big Plaice and Flounder everywhere

This was a really fun night out lobster foraging. Couldn’t believe how many we saw. It was really cool to see some nice plaice as well.

Looked really good, something I’m wanting to start doing myself, what gear do you recommend for me getting so I can start?

Foraging is brilliant as you need virtually nothing. Just a foraging hook, bucket, waders and a life jacket. If your heading out at night then a good head torch as well. But I wound recommended heading out on some spring tides during the day to get familiar with it before going out at night. Make sure you let someone know where your heading to and how long you’ll be…just basic safety stuff 👍🏼

@@krismorrin7082 oh nice, I hope you get one for a cook up! The one I use was made by my dad but if you have a look on google for Startpoint Spearfishing they sell a really nice foraging hook. The net is just a normal prawn/ shrimping net.
