Much respect doing the work yourself. If I could save the money in labor I would have finished my build 5 years ago instead of finishing my build now. I am about to paint the 4Runner myself so I got that going for me. My cheap off-road lights I mounted on my ARB bumper 7 years ago lasted about 5 months and I have not had light since. I put my money into ICON suspension and other nice stuff. I am saving up now for nice lights and after I paint myself I have built a masterpiece. I respect the speed in which your masterpiece is coming along.

Great video. Thanks for making the detailed video. Your video helps me see that I can do it myself too. I have 5th Gen 4Runner and it appears to be very similar. Have fun wheeling!

Do you have any water seepage into the cab when you hit deep puddles? And if not … did you do anything to water proof the cab?
@Garrett_Logan6 ай бұрын
Nope, there’s these little rubber seals that will keep the water out of the cab to a certain extent.

Hi, would gasless fluxcore welding work for this application?
@Garrett_Logan10 ай бұрын
Well I’m sure there are more skilled welders to answer your question but I don’t see why that would be a problem

Hi, please tell me what is the size of the Rod End Bearings. A great idea for home-made without turning work. Greetings from Siberia.

Is there a way to install/customize this so that the stock hitch (08 V8) can still be utilized?
@Garrett_Logan4 ай бұрын
@@letscrushweights748 no you’re gonna have to take the stock hitch off because the hitch hangs down lower than the coastal bumper. I’d recommend using the hitch they include. If somehow you managed to keep the stock one on it would look really funky

What did powdercoat run you?

The rear bumper ran me $300 and the front was $200

Are you a pro or rec welder? Looks great, either way. And roughly how many hours do you think it too you to do it? I am just getting into welding and would like to do this for my LandCruiser but not sure how many hours (days) I am will be working on this.
@Garrett_Logan10 ай бұрын
Lol I’m definitely just a recreational welder. It’s hard to say because my schedule is kind of crazy but I’d say you could do it in 3 days or less. Plus it took me longer because I had to record everything.
@remyrunner905110 ай бұрын
@@Garrett_Logan Sweet. Well then, maybe I can finish the job in about 9 days with about 50% of the quality you had there. Gives me inspiration. Muchas gracias.
