Thanks for waving Dave! That is one gorgeous coastline. Tiny waves lap at the sand, stones and shells but still make a wonderful beach sound. The Morning Glories in full bloom, flowers fill fountains, white clouds dot the blue sky and it is all part of a great English day at the beach. You keep waving and I'll keep watching! A very interesting walk. Thats a huge barrier that's been built with the small stones. I wondered why the sky is such a strange colour. I then remembered that it's a blue one and I had forgotten what it looked like. 😁

Your walks ware my favourite walks. And I am so happy to see Weymouth again. I've been there with 14 or so with a language school in the mid 80s I think. I was very homesick and at the end of the 3 weeks my shoes were battered (because it rained 6 times a day 😄) but we (daughter of my Mom's friend and I) lived with a cute but very poor host family and I learned to love fresh cottage cheese and toast with salted butter made on the gas grill above the stove. I bought the cottage cheese on our long walk home to our residental area uphill at the end of an endless road in a little grocery shop halfway to our home that is probably long gone by now. We visited London (which was loud, dirty and very grey back then) and Bath and a butterfly farm near Weymouth. 🥰 I would love to go again but am sick atm so no chance to do that anytime soon. I enjoy the dearly missed English countryside through your walks. My favourite ones are walks in the rain. 😉 Thank you!

When I was about 8 years old in the late 1950s I had one wonderful day at Weymouth beach with a couple of friends and their mum. I think the sand and the shallow clear waters mum it an ideal beach for families with young children. Thanks for superb walk as always. I think you deserve a lot more thumbs up!

A beach is often really empty or really busy, there is never a beach in the middle.. I prefer the empty beaches!
