Coastal view Cullercoats Bay Tynemouth Long Sands

A grey day exploring Cullercoats Cove focus on the Newcastle University Marine Biology Lab ending at the top of Tynemouth Long Sands focus of the awaiting renovation of Tynemouth open air pool. Sting from the band the Police has contributed money to the renovation.
Tynemouth Long Sands and Cullercoats cove have retained their Blue flag status for many a years and surfers do frequent the Tynemouth Long sands, but not that early in the morning on a weekday :)
In the distance at the end you can see the Priory Castle another spot I filmed last week during the Mouth of the Tyne festival.
