Sounds like a Perfect solution, but please could you make another video with much more light? Black gloves in front of a dark background is a real challenge to watch

I have the same Si-Tech oval system, but have been using the Antares kit to fit over the top. Even though my Antares kit has only had on or two minor leaks, your solution simplifies everything very nicely... I will give your method a test... It will only work with Latex gloves though. PVC might not fold over the top of the ring to take up slack. Nice and simple. Well done!

Just got my suit modified for dry gloves. The guy doing it swore by this exact system, so I figured why not. I was a bit sceptical at first, but this video really calmed me down. I have only done one dive with the new gloves so far.

I’ve been using this system the last 3 years on my Ursuit. Not a single leak. Warm and very nice👌

I just discovered this video. Great solution of course, but I suppose the gloves are preinstalled already. Which makes it much more difficult to put in place the neoprene neck seal. Especially with thick undergloves. I've tried it, and its a pain in the a**

I use to dive in Switzerland, with a rebreather it's a no brainer to have neoprene drysuit and drygloves. I've tried many systems (Rolock, Sitech, kalweit, etc). My favorite so far is the French TED'S system, similar to kallweit but in metal, much more safe as it is quite impossible to remove by mistake. Undergloves are thin Hestra brand merinos (ski) and gloves are maxdry rubbed ones, I also use fourth element wrist thermal protection that provides me enough air transportation between drysuit and glove. I really like the feeling of that combination, definitly not the warmest (warm enough though) but without contest I got the best feeling to work with lines in cave diving!

I'm using the Santi smart glove system together with smart seals. Tbh I was sceptical about this setup but now when I use it - well it's working very good.

Rolock dry glove system for the last 5 years with 3mm wet gloves as a thermal liner. Highly recommended. The wet gloves work well in the event of a leak.

I did my second dive with the rolock system. I like it but struggle to lock them (red dot on red dot) and unlock them.. Any advice would be welcome😉

Johan Pupillo try ensure the O ring face that’s on the ring that’s on the sleeve of your dry suit is well lubricated with silicone grease and clear of dirt.

I use both the Stief and the Rolock since 500 Dives now with Santi heated Gloves. Quick, Easy, double safety and heavy duty. I dont care the rings and I hate cold hands :)

Is the santi GloveSystem warmer than the quallofil undergloves
@johannmattis48425 жыл бұрын
Dont know the quallofil gloves. I've only used diffrent ones from thinsulate material. The Santi heated ones beat them easy. (though the yellow diving are told to be more powerful, but I find the permanent cables impractical) The quallofil look very thick, which should be warm but on the downside no good feeling in the fingers, which is one of the good points of the santis, boltsnap handling is superb with them.

Thank you. Keep up the good work, I use the sitech oval rings with the ultima system, best of both worlds I think.

Huh, there are oval ultima rings now? I have the round ultima rings...

The ultima suit rings fit into the sitech ovals. Easy Peazy.

Can anyone who has replicated this suggest what kind of outer glove to use? I imagine there’s only a certain thickness that will fit...
