Back in the mid 1970s, I used to dig razor clams on the beaches of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA and bring them to my 90 year old grandfather to cook up into a white chowder. And wild blueberries to my mom for muffins. Life was great when you could wild harvest what was taught to you and then bring it to an adult who would work their magic.

Wonderful to see a new video, Mr. Evans! I am working as a chef on the Gulf Coast of the United States, and your videos have always been a source of inspiration. Watching you pushes me to go out and learn about all of the local edible plants and proteins beyond what is commercially available. It is an adventure to create new recipes and taste new things, and it constantly reminds me how important it is to be responsible with the natural resources we have been gifted with.
