It's always such a special treat to see you've posted a new video. I feel like I'm taking a Life on the Pembrokeshire Seaside class and you are an excellent teacher. Using the clear box 👍 I loved hearing about the creatures and the gobis and blenneys are wonderful. Personal favorite was the rock encrusted urchin. THANK YOU so much for these. I love each one, for different reasons. And the pup got a lesson, too, and like me... loved every minute.

The rocky coast of the Pacific Northwest in Oregon/Washington, US has a striking amount of similarities in the shore life. We do have shore crabs, juvenile ocean crabs, razor clams, limpets, varying types of seaweed similar in size, shape and colour, mussels, barnacles, sea anemones, oysters (ours seem to grow bigger) as well as the many types of fish, prawns, and snails/whelks. One thing we don't have are lobsters however. Amazing how life can be similar even across the world.

I'm confused about the feather star at 13:00. I'm an aquarist and I thought feather stars were in the crinoid family and were saltwater not freshwater as mentioned? Also I could be wrong but I don't think they're really related to starfish lol

You are spot on Clyde-outdoor-products,as I film all the videos live and unscripted ,I meant to say " clean " water ,not fresh water LOl. They are crinoids and feed from the water column-sorry for the confusion. Good luck with your aquarium, I kept a native marine tank for about 10 years and hope to restart this year, regards Craig

Hi Swift_Drifts21 , it sounds like a Cornish Clingfish, they grow to about 10cms, a very pretty fish. You may also find Conammara Clingfish, they are similar but with red spots, I hope this helps, regards Craig

Tickling fish, now that is a term i used to hear said a lot when i was a young teenager, how are you so knowledgeable about coastal sea life? I think you know more than the average person living on the coast would know, I've seen rocks with holes in them like that and didn't know how they would get like that but now i do, very interesting.
