Efteling is still better i think at least in the theming and really fine details i just wish they would build one good coaster. They got a lot of decent ones and Baron and vliegende hollander are defintly worldclass experiences but coasterwise a bit hmm... Besides they need a few more coasters the park gets to busy for about half the year. But lets wait on the new Dance Macabre section first.

Troy is still one of the finest woodies in Europe. Temperamental, though. This is my home park and I've experienced Troy both crawling and hauling. Some enthousiasts don't rate Troy but I expect they caught it on a bad day. It's not as smooth as it used to be but the park does trackwork every year to keep it running well.

You should look for a little bit of history of Toverland, fun fact: They started in 2001 with only 1 hall, the one with the big kiddie coaster in it. The reason that they started it was because of the owner wanted to have a place where people could go 365 days a year. Only two years later they starting expanding with the second hall and Booster Bike and it opened in 2004. After that in 2007 they added Troy. And now, after 21 years of visiting it, i saw the park grow and i am proud of it! And in 2023 they expand Avalon with 4 new mechanical rides, and they are starting in september, you can see the big pile of sand next to Fenix' hall in your vlog, they are gonna use it to fill in the lake. Rumors say they open a Intamin Parachute Tower, and the rumor is pretty accurate because the website who told about the rumor is really close with people of Toverland.

Dude I completely agree, Toverland has so many details and the immersion is amazing, great to see your reactions!
@justinchavez9530 Жыл бұрын
I definitely agree with you, Toverland looks like a truly beautiful park. Especially when this park is home to Troy, Fenix, Merlin's Quest, Booster Bike and a log flume that goes backwards. It's a shame that this up-and-coming park isn't talked about as much. Now, if the park were to follow up their B&M Wing Coaster, here are my three possible choices as for what could be Toverland's next coaster: 1. Intamin Mega Coaster (similar to Kondaa at Walibi Beligum) 2. Vekoma Flying Coaster 3. Mack Rides Mini-Hyper Coaster

Ahhh, my homepark! It's so underrated, I absolutely love this place. Troy and Fenix are both in my top 10. I also love how original they are with their themed areas. Avalon is such a cool take on the fantasy style, it truely feels like a magical place with some kinetic energy in it (with Fenix and Merlin's Quest moving through it) that is lacking in a lot of other theme parks. I also really like how a lot of the lands are connected with an overarching theme/story while still all feeling unique. The areas around Fenix, Dwervelwing, Djengu River and Expedition Zork all use these little green creatures that show there's some sort of a story throughout the park, yet they all feel different.

I've finally visited this park for the first time last tuesday and it honestly blew me away. I've heard good things for a while now, and it's closer to my home town than I expected (at 40 minutes), so it's a crime I didn't visit it before. It used to have a bit of the 'It's an oversized playground' vibe back in the days. While Fenix and Troy were excellent rides, my biggest surprise was Dwervelwind. I'm not sure what happened, but in our impromptu second ride the car I was in with 2 friends was just completely unhinged. Think in the sense of Bakken's Tornado. It was insane, I got off that ride dizzy and some other friends who were sitting in the cars behind us were also wondering what happened to us. But I do completely agree. This park does so many things well. I really hope they'll keep it up, because this can definitely grow into a must-do down the line, if it's not already at that point. I'm definitely going back in the near future :D

Troy was abnormally rough when I did it a couple of weeks ago. It was very hot that day but that's no excuse as the other GCIs i did on the same trip were also on hot days. I've done 14 GCI woodies and it's one of the roughest i've been on by far. It's more of a jackhammering rough though. Did Joris en de Draak at Efteling a few days earlier and Wodan at Europa Park a few days later and both were smooth as silk compared to Troy. Great layout, but it needs some work for sure.
