This was the original CorkScrew at Rocky Point Park in Rhode Island. I grew up going to that park and this was my 1st roller coaster. I was terrified but so much fun! Very nostalgic!

Thank you so much for posting this. This Corkscrew (is what it was called many years ago) was the ride that came from our old Rocky Point Park in Warwick, RI. Our park closed in 1995 when I was 14 and at the time was my favorite ride. It always sucked that it was 15 seconds long but it made us run out and run up the stairs to back on it. It looks like they set up a lot of stairs like we had. I just learned this video existed and where the corkscrew went so I’m thrilled to see every bend in the same spot. The dip and bend to the right to go up the climb. The sound of the clackity clack use to echo throughout the whole park and it sounds exactly the same. It’s what we had and it was fun. My first ever coaster ride. I got real sick the same year the park closed with a bad heart. Had a heart transplant 2 years later and now can’t ride them. Makes me feel like my heart stops with too much adrenaline. In any case this brings back so many great memories so thanks for posting !!!

The operations at this park suck, but on a good day, most people are in the nightmare water park section, so the coasters only have, at most, a 10 minute long line

Somebody should buy like 5 old arrow coasters. Connect them all together. Have a sighn that has the name of each coaster when you reach its lift. Good way to break the inversion record but not invest in a new coaster

This was my first Arrow looper. It was a little on the rougher side, both corkscrews caused my head to collide with the restraints. The other Arrow loopers I’ve ridden didn’t do that to me (except Demon at SFGAM) the corkscrews on Arrows are usually rather smooth. This will always hold a special place in my heart though, as it was my first ever Arrow coaster, second looping coaster, and the first coaster that I ever marathoned.

I don't know about currently, but when I went on this as a kid in the early 2000s it was ROUGH. The single thing I remember most about it is banging my head against the restraints during those corkscrews.
