1. Super beautiful coaster Louise, I love them all. 2. You calling it "fluid art for beginners" is like Picasso taking one of his masterpieces saying "Now kids, today I'll teach you how to paint like this in 9 minutes". 😆 You are a great artist Louise, and what you do takes a lot of experience, to achieve such perfection. Thank you for another amazing video my friend. Wishing you a great new week.... Thomas PS. Sorry to be late watching this one, I have not been well the last couple of days.
@LouiseMcKayArt10 күн бұрын
Awe Thomas I hope you feel well. Feel better soon. The reason I call it fluid art for beginners is because this is something a beginner that’s learning. This technique should be starting on, something is small, but if they make mistakes and need to redo, they don’t use too much paint, and it’s just a good size to get acquainted with. For sure I make it look easier than it is because there’s a lot of background work that goes into even just creating the paint with the right recipe and getting the right consistency. So I understand what you’re saying thank you for the Picasso reference😉 I’ve been doing this just over 3 1/2 years and really started to get it about two years ago when I started dabbling into functional art. Thank you for being here. Never apologize for being “late”.

Oh my God, I have returned to my children this clip 7:27 a million times, as you welcome Salim, Zein and Hamza. My children dance with joy when they hear their names and see you saying their names and welcoming them, and they ask to come visit you at your house and learn from you face to face the art of pouring colors. They imagine that the matter is simple and that you are close to us. This is the innocence of children. But I explained to them that traveling is a very complicated and difficult matter and that the distance is very far. They love you very much and you have become their role model. They wish to be artists like you. I think that they are your youngest fans and followers, my dear Louise 😊 This is very kind of you, my sister Louise!! I am indebted to you because you have brought joy and happiness to my children's hearts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Awe Be_Unique, 😘😘😘your comment has touched my heart 💙and I’m thrilled your little boys are so happy to know that me, so far away, acknowledge them as sweet young viewers. It is just a reminder that no matter how far apart we are on this earth, we are all the same, we are all people who share the same space even if we may be a little farther away. I thank you for sharing with me your sons and I’m so happy they’re happy. I’m sure you’ve heard that we are expecting our first granddaughter, our first grandchild next month, and we are so excited about her coming into the world. Children give me faith for the future in this crazy world that seems to be getting crazier. The innocence and spirit of children, we must continue to embrace them and protect them. Thank you so much for sharing my friend and sweet sister.💙

@LouiseMcKayArt I am also excited about her arrival and very happy for you, my sister Louise, to welcome your first granddaughter next month. I hope she comes in good health and her mother is also in good health and may God protect them. Having children in the world gives it a special taste of happiness, love, optimism and also responsibility.

Louise, These coasters turned out lovely, and they are so different because of the color variation, it's completely different 😊 I think the newest color sent to you is luscious. Just a fantastic blue similar to a more colorful Paynes Grey...I love the texture and cells in these coasters!! They are some of your best...Thanks for sharing hon, hope all is well with you and yours 🤗☺❤

A lovely blossom, and a great color combination. It's too bad I can't start something around hear. I have three busy body cats who would be getting into the paint. I hear you about having jet lag. I was in China just after Tianmen Square. When I got back, I was in bed for three days trying to sleep and couldn't. I finally said to heck with it, and went into work anyway. I was nearly swaying like a drunken sailor. I followed my usual evening routine, and went to bed as I normally do. It worked, I actually went to sleep.
@LouiseMcKayArt12 күн бұрын
Maybe you can start a new paint technique using your cats, certainly their paw prints could be cute🙀🐈🐈 and jet lag is one thing, but then the midnight flight with no sleep to speak of is quite another. Wow you were at Tiananmen Square?
@TheParkAttendant11 күн бұрын
@LouiseMcKayArt Around here, if your a bachelor, your a pariah. I got pushed into a foreign marriage. The plans and plane tickets were already in the works, when the Tianmen Square incident happened. Every one was concerned about my safety. But I told them the Chinese won't mess with tourists, and went anyway. When I got there, as a stepped out of the plane, there was a soldier there standing with a rifle standing guard. The entire city had been turned into an armed camp. Soldiers were everywhere! The protesters had shut everything down. Nothing was coming into the city or going out. Food and medical supplies couldn't be moved in. I'm not taking sides. I wish there could have been a better outcome.

I just got my TLP today. Can’t wait to use it. Do you have a video how u mix your powder in paint?
@LouiseMcKayArt11 күн бұрын
Thank you Vicki for purchasing some, it is a beautiful color like I said in my auction video it’s like a as if golden and Arteza’s Payne’s gray got together and had a baby a sparkly. I do not have a video on using TLP’s or mixing powder as I really hardly ever do it and the way honestly is never the same. It just depends on how it’s coming out. I know the right way to do it is that you start with some of the varnish typically if you’re going to use varnish combination to dissolve the pigment into and then you add your pouring medium paint whatever that might be to get it to the right consistency. But Just look up mixing pigments and you’ll find 100 videos on it.
