For vertical velocity they cant dispatch the train until the launch mechanism cools down. I think the cool down is like 1.45 minutes. So that is why the wait takes as long as it does.

Airtime Thrills I timed Raging Bull more than once and it never hit 30 seconds. The dispatch I included in this video was their fastest one.

Coaster Studios it depends on the day. Some days it’s consistently getting about 45 seconds, some days it’s about the time in the video

@@CoasterStudios mustve been a slower crew. Their ops from Oct 2017 were Disney level fast and it makes sense, with just the lapbar to check and no seatbelt

At the end of the night the ops will sometimes have fun and you'll see 30 second dispatches, but generally it's closer to 60 seconds on average. Which honestly is solid with the 4 wide B&M trains. Raging Bull's line usually moves pretty fast.

SFGam Ride op about to go into my 3rd season here. I'm really happy you got this video done on a good day when we were on point with our dispatches. Batman is my favorite coaster to work at and a minuet dispatch makes me so happy. However, V2 has a kinda long dispatch interval and we have to wait a certain amount of time before the ride itself will even let us send another cycle. I've been told Goliath is difficult because guest pull down the restraints and the workers have to pull them up, same with other RMCs. I love my park and my co-workers and management. Seems like we do better than a lot of other parks.

As a worker at this park I know all the dispatch intervals: Maxx- has to stack due to ride length Whizzer- with 2 trains it is the final brake run, 3 trains is the mid course break run (fun fact when it first opened in 1976 whizzer ran 5 trains) Raging bull and demon- 2 trains is the midcourse, 3 trains is the lift Viper, X flight,American eagle, batman, superman,goliath - final brake run Flash/V2- has only one train and has to wait after 115 seconds(1 minute 55 seconds) for the launch system to cooldown Joker- loads and dispatches 2 cars at once and have to send it after both cars reach the final brakes Dark knight- has 8 trains and can send another once the train before it has finished the lift hill

I live 15 mins away and I couldn’t agree more with the verdicts. Sometimes the slower dispatches like Superman are pretty decent depending on the day. It’s also pretty common for short breakdowns and getting stuck in the brake run. Great video though!

One thing about V2 is that there is a 115 sec cool down between cycles and you cant send the train before that. So that time mention in the video is a really good time.

The time and day you go is a big factor on that. Now if only a certain park could strive a little more for this kind of effort.

I think it really depends on the people getting on the train. Especially for most of the rides with seatbelts and lap bars involved, it takes a little longer. Also people putting bags in the cubbies, people having difficulty getting the restraint down etc. Most of the time it really isn't the operators' fault for how fast the dispatch is. Side note: Superman is just always slow for some reason and idk why

TigerRocks503 Aka: Chase The layout is a copy of the Coney Island Cyclone. Theme Park Crazy often says that “you can never go wrong with a B&M hyper”. I know that some Magic Mountain fans will probably disagree with me, but you generally can’t go wrong with a Cyclone copy.

B&M Flyers seem to take a long time. I was surprised Superman was under 2 minutes. At Over Georgia you could have used a hour's glass to time them. I was surprised to see Raging Bull be that long. That one is generally real quick.

For those curious: American Eagle sadly is not allowed to race anymore due to the age of the structure...it can still physically race...it’s just the park is trying to keep it operating for as long as it can as racing wears the track much quicker. It still does run both sides but one side is dispatched while the other comes back in and when the other side is dispatched the previous side returns. I’m wondering if there can be any way to make the coaster race again without an RMC redo. Thoughts? Blue side was probably not open in this video due to low staff.

SFGAm's operations were definitely much improved on my visit last summer versus my prior trip in 2014. While they're not the best in the Six Flags chain, I'd say they're in the upper third to quarter of the parks.

From my experience at American Eagle the best dispatch is a minute 25 seconds from the first buzz to brake 6 the dispatch tone plays as the previous train passes through brake 6

An awesome, easy detail you could add to make the video even better would take the number of seats on the train and divide the time from the video by an hour for a TRUE riders per hour number, stamped and approved by coaster studious haha!!! This is pretty accurate to what I see most of the times I'm there. The operations on the B&Ms is disappointing compared to some of the cedar fair parks I've been to this year. I have been blown away by batman sometimes though, they really have it flying sometimes. I will agree though that compared to most six flags I've been to.

When Whizzer opened in 1976 it actually had five trains...but due to safety issues it was reduced to three. It usually runs two trains as the third is cycled with one of the other two. The fourth and fifth trains have since became part donors.

Maybe it's because b&m hypers and their restraints are especially constructed for quick 30-second-dispatches but the jetstars just need more time because they are constructed less staff-friendly. That way, the staff at the jetstar would be doing a better job than the ones working at Raging Bull although they're putting through less people per hour. So those dispatches are okay because they pretty much reach the ride's maximum theoretical capacity while the RB team doesn't reach full capacity on their ride.

as a long time visitor of this park, and as someone who has this as their home park, i can confirm that i’ve seen raging bull’s dispatches be 25 seconds! but i’d say the average is around 40 seconds. guess you just caught it on a bad day. i also see x flight be more than two minutes FREQUENTLY. guess you caught x flight on a good day. and american eagle is usually at least three minutes so you caught that on a good day too.

this is my home park and yeah I will say, superman, raging bull, goliath, V2, and American eagle are the slowest one sometimes it's the slow day or sometimes it's an off day but all in all I will say they do try their best to make sure everyone is safe and secure at all time and hype us up which is great so kudos to them hope this year will be better for them will see.

You should see the operations in Australia. They are attrocious, sometimes taking over 5 minutes just to dispatch a small SLC. Seeing 2 minute dispatch’s is a very distant dream in Australia
