Fun fact: the parking lot at the start only got covered in the past few years. They're solar panels and if I recall correctly also allow you to charge your EV. The sellers on the pathway to the parks are illegal, Disney doesn't allow them. That area is also full of beggars. I used to be a passholder and let me tell you, some of them I saw every single time. There was one man there I always saw who had no legs, but if you looked behind him in the bushes you could see where he put his prosthetic legs

The sellers are of course illegal but they're not on Disney property, all the area around the train station is public same as the area between the parks and Disney Village.

I love Disneyland Paris, hyperspace mountain was the first coaster I’ve been on that had inversions. We also went on a rainy day so the lines were never longer than 15 minutes

Nice vlog! To add something in regards to the sellers at the train station. The place where they are selling is in fact not Disney property. It is public domain because of the train station. From time to time there is police patrolling. And then the sellers are nowhere in sight. But Disney security can’t do anything against them as this happens outside of the property. For this reason alone Disney created a special bypass of the area for Disney Hotel guests. Now they just need another one for the parking lot 😉. The covers of the parking lot are in fact a solar farm. I am always amazed how much greener Disneyland Paris is compared to Disney World (No plastic souvenir bags, no throw away plates/cups/cutlery, dedicated trash cans for sorting waste, etc). I hope that WDW will learn from Paris on this subject matter.

I have a feeling more of it comes down to politics and the fact that many greener solutions are either pushed or forced by the French government compared to Floridas government which is very infamous for a lack of care for the environment or global warming.

Man that was crazy stuff you had to deal with. As for the park the uptightness seems to be much more of a European thing. Europeans generally tend to be very VERY fixated on efficiency and are generally more likely to complain loudly if someone holds up the line or jumps the line, which the Rock N rollerocaster procedure you described would fall under. All of that is something Disney wants to avoid. Also I will say as a European there is one thing Ive always wondered about Disneyland Paris, and that is the fact they never ever built a Donald Duck themed land. For context Disney comics, especially Donald duck comics, are insanely popular in Europe and for many the gateway to Disney as a whole and the most popular magasines and comic books by far. EVERYONE knows of Donald Duck, Duckburg, and its extended cast like Uncle Scrooge, Gladstone Gander, Magica de Spell, The Beagle boys, and many more. The Ducktales animated series were based loosely on the comics but they were never a mainstay over in North America. So while I see how American leadership could overlook the comics, I'm still extremely surprised that it has never been incorporated into a land at either Disneyland Park or Walt Disney studios. It could very easily have been Paris' answer to Toon Town, just having a big Duckburg area anchored by Scrooge McDucks huge moneybin on a hill, with a darkride inside!

It's probably sticking to the same script to help keep things consistent and so people from places visiting aren't like "why don't we get Mickey like other places?" and keeping that mascot well-emphasised. Another factor might be that Disney felt like if they already had Donald popular with the culture, why promote him further when he doesn't need it as much. People might go in _hopes_ of seeing Donald and fall in love with other properties that Disney wants to promote.

What an epic park to spend an afternoon and evening in. Shame about the airbnb/hotel nightmare, glad y'all finally got somewhere. From marathoning Toutatis the SAME DAY to go through all that.. I'm not sure I'd survive lol. Keep up the great work with this series, always a pleasure to see.

As a Florida Local/Disney Passholder/Coaster Enthusiast the idea of them knowingly running a train without audio shocks me as I have have seen rockin’ roller coaster with one train on multiple occasions because of issues. It might result in crazy waits but they seem to prioritize the experience

9:57 Disneyland paris is in france so obviously it's not the same policy + it doesn't make sense to get a free re-ride if there's an issue with the special effects/audio it affects capacity

How can you arrive "too late" for an air b&b? Its remotely altered locks sometimes right? lol You're booked and paid for overnight so it cant be from wanting to open business to someone available earlier

Do you prefer theme parks like this or amusement parks filled with thrill rides?
@chrisogrady2811 ай бұрын
For me it depends on the level and style of theming. Tokyo Disney Sea crosses that line and is a top tier park even without good rides, Disneyland Paris isn't good enough IMO to make up for the lack of good rides. My favourite parks overall though are the combinations of both like Phantasia and Europa, IMO they are the best in the world

For me, Walt Disney Studios is one of the most underrated parks in the world. It's about on par with the main park in my opinion

Now that's an unpopular opinion! For me, I think most of the attractions are at least good, but the park itself is very mediocre

@@gameplayxtreme3389 I agree that the theming of the main park is better, but WDS's is still great. But because it's a Disney park and "Disney could make better", many people will say the park is trash

I want to agree with you, because I've been there and I did like it, but the last time I was able to go was prior to 2016 when they shut a whole bunch of it down to remove older attractions and build the extensions, which definitely are needed and I'm hoping they can make something good out of the new section... but damn if it isn't disappointing how Disney dropping the ball over the past 5+ years hasn't had a knock-on effect on DLP and the WDS park especially. It really needed a lot of investment, and closing down parts of it to build new ones that aren't even fully realised yet _and_ might change is just depressing. I always feel like if I were to recommend someone to visit DLP, and the WDS park specifically, it'd be back in 2016 or a few years earlier, when, yes, we had less beloved rides like Armageddon, but at least it still had a decent amount of attractions back then. The weird stopgap Cars attraction really isn't helping its image either.
