hi Marina, Thank you for this beautiful video, well explained. I have a question. What is the advantage of having 2 pieces of sleeve, sewing them together rather than having just one piece of sleeve.

It did it for two reasons. It looks great and you can also do a contrast if you like. So fashion is the reason. Second you can have a turn up at the intended age which you roll down later on and it will still fit and look cool. So its not like, make a coat for your 5 year old in expensive materials and next year they have outgrown it. It works together with the fitted sleeve. Most kiddo patterns have really wide shoulders which, in the wrong size, can look pretty bad. By keeping them exactly on point, if the coat is too big it looks like a loose overcoat. As kids grow into it it becomes a very well fitted jacket. That was my thinking :)

Irgentwann heute Nacht. :) Nicht lange. Leider kann ich beim Produzieren des Videos nicht am Computer arbeiten. Daher mache ich das Abends, so habe ich meist 2 Tage später das eutsche Video bereit. Fertig ist es schon.
