beautiful. what is the construction cost in total. Also, what about protection from rains. You know when it rains cats and dogs, the walls become wet. Does this mud wall repel water or does it absorb it to deep inside..

Aha that’s why. I saw a NZ couple use mussel shells instead. That’s awesome thank you for that. I live in a 400 year old cottage, unfortunately don’t think they did any of that.

Very nice! Question, why did you build the floor up so high? Is that a flood zone? Next question, when can you make me one? :)
@dab03316 жыл бұрын
orangenblueohio that's just the foundation. Cob homes often have stone masonry for the base

Think they’ll have monsoon. But they really need downhill drainage ditches too or they’ll get stuck.

what is cost of building in labour I want to build house in North india
@arthurrangel3926 жыл бұрын
well since cob is not widely used anymore it often requires a specialized workforce and it tends to cost more but it's possible to do it with a dedicated group of people.

Arthur Rangel Cob is actually cheap. Its just the knowledge of doing it that's priceless. With help of friends and family you can do it in the States for like $4,000. So in India it's gonna be even cheaper
