Cobber the rescue dog - training journey

Cobber was adopted by James and Liz and they brought him to me for training because they wanted a safe and well mannered dog. In this clip, check out Cobber showing off his quick recalls, his drop and sit stays and how focused and happy he is. He had zero training when we met and used to pull hard every time he was distracted, especially by other dogs.

This was a lovely video to watch! It was great to see how attentive Cobber was and how much fun he was having. Did you by any change give your business card to the owners at 2:12 and 2:37? Those dogs need help too.

You are so right that I should have but I was so focused on what we were doing that I didn't! If they liked what they saw they can easily find me online - I had my training shirt on. I gotta get better at that! Happens a lot.

@@DogMattersTV I don't blame you, especially since Cobber was being such a good boy! :-D A shirt is great advertising. P.S. What is Miss Envy up to these days? I miss seeing her sweet face.

@@thegoatmama9693 She's doing well! She is a lady of leisure in our new house. All the dogs seem happier since we moved in a year ago. Like they know it's nicer? Envy has some joint pain so we don't do any sports but she hasn't slowed down much. She loves scent games sniffing out her toys when I hide them and loves swimming. I will add it to my list to make an Envy video :)
