A great model. After suffering heavy casualties for the exposed crew, most M113 in Vietnam had shields fitted on the .50 cal and added 2 M60s or other MG with shields on either side of the rear roof hatch (called ACAV) . That would be a great version. Other mod would be mortar firing through rear hatch.

Excellent review, and thank you for pointing out the design flaw regarding the tracks and road wheel mounts. It's unfortunate that the wheels are so vulnerable to breaking off when you apply pressure, but this is the kind of information we need- great job!

I glued my track construction part. I applied glue only in 2 places per side, so I still can disassembly the whole thing at any time.

Darn, I will probably only get it to settle my craving for a COBI schwerer Gustav. Also if you live in the east coast in the US I suggest looking at the AAF tank Museum’s shop. Prices are insanely low compared to amazon or cobi itself.
