I just bought this system and there are several things that I really like, especially for the price. The video quality and night vision are fantastic. That being said, I have several gripes at the moment:. 1) I cannot figure out how to export or download videos from the system to another device. If I needed to send some video to the police to help in an investigation, I would obviously need to export. 2) The web interface requires Internet Explorer to "fully" function. I say "fully" because even with IE, there are still a couple things that don't work. As a web developer, I really wish I could access the base system and then perhaps I could just write my own interface that would be compatible with all modern browsers.

Got this system a couple weeks ago. Have 3 cameras now, would have more but can't find them at any of the Harbor Freight stores in my region. Anyway, did you figure out how to export the video to another device? I've been at this all morning and haven't been able to get it to export. Haven't tried the IE web interface. Will try that next.

According to the manual you are supposed to be able to save clips to a USB stick in the recording playback interface. Have to hit the clip button then set the time frame and the clip button turns into the save button. Also is a save button in the events mode to save events clips. Unfortunately for me it never recognizes any of the USB sticks I have they don't show up. I tried formatting one through the USB format function and it apparently didn't recognize the USB stick and format failed. Now I don't know if I just don't have the right USB stick for it or there is a problem with the device. Does the USB save function work for anybody?

@@ArticIce56 I reformatted the USB stick as FAT32 format using a Windows computer. I'm trying to remember the whole sequence of events because I remember the USB being so messed up from trying to format it using the NVR interface that I had to use the disk management tool in Windows to re-partition the USB and then reformat it.

I hook everything up correctly!! And my screen is still black! Nothing is popping up. I’ve tried it with 3 different screens. And 2 different hdmi cables!!

I had the same problem as well, but I disconnected everything went out of town and no I am back setting it up for my pops I am on a different screen with a different hdmi cable I connected the wifi and power cable first then plugged it into the wall, I believe then my mouse cursor showed up but Im not sure because i still didn't connected my own mouse. (instead of the one included ) I them connected the cameras the same way by wiring them then connecting to wall I'm not sure if this even matters but I also couldn't get it show and I had left it on for like atleast 30 minutes I will try again to disconnect everything and see if I can get it to not show so I can diagnose it

I purchased this system and after working with it for a few hours I returned it. No matter what I did and enabled I could not get anywhere near a decent video quality. It wasn't anywhere near 1080 so either something was wrong with the system I got or I just couldn't figure out the right buttons. Swann has the same system but with some camera improvements and it appears you could use their cameras with this system. There are options depending on what camera you have with this system. I was very disappointed but perhaps I wasn't doing something right. You don't need Wi-Fi with this its standalone and that's how I was using. Hope everyone has better luck.

My system never gets to the setup wizard. It says initializing, and then the monitor says no signal.

I really need more help than these instructions have. I bought 3 extra cameras for this system. The cameras work sometimes, sometimes not. They sometimes say off-line, other times not paired.. There are not enough instructions anywhere on line. Can I please get more instructions?

The signal has a hard time getting to the portal through brick and thick walls and also distance

I bought this system also harbor freight guys gave me 2 extra cameras which have eithernet cables. There is only one eithernet port .what do you need to make both work. They gave me wrong cameras for my 1080p white n v r box.

Does anyone know how to get notifications or how to setup your email? Also the sensitivity goes from 1 to 10 is 10 being the most sensitive? Horrible instructions and contacting the one 800 number isn’t much help either.

My system just stopped working, I heard something shaking inside and found one of the antennas had came unstuck I placed it back on but still no signal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙏

No where on the box did it say I needed an hdmi cable. Don't have one. Also, don't have a monitor with hdmi(old monitors). How do I hook this up on a laptop or tablet?

When you plug it in you have to have somebody pressed a button and you have to be at the monitor clicking it to pair

Brought and taking back. Main system starts, get blue light then green, then goes to red and then blinks. There's nothing on the instruction that states what these lights do. Only data on the main unit is the rear configuration. Tried to reset, tried to find online support or information, tried different monitors, different HDMI cables, tired different power source, all I get is initial system configure screen shot and then blank and then goes to blinking red. The instructions are terrible. There's this video to setup which I watched before buying. Read the reviews on FH, and they were all mostly positive. But without online support, you can email tech support, but I am not waiting for email to resolve these issues. So rather than wasting this much time - spend 2 hours last night and nothing - taking back and looking at other systems. Currently have an Arlo, but they are forcing service to the cloud vs. local storage. So need to find another alternative.

Is this 1080P high resolution wireless white camera compatible with the 4 channel 720P COBRA surveillance system item #63842? That system comes with only 2 cameras however I got an extra so I have 3 of those black cameras now operational and would like to connect this 4th higher resolution camera as well. Pressing the "synchronization button" hasn't proved fruitful thus far. My 3rd black camera (that matches the 2 that came with the 720P system) auto synced just fine without any IP address setup at all and are still accessible via my cell phone OR the mini included 4 view quadrants self standing monitor Thanks folks.

This camera system has some really nice video, however the system is very very outdated. Back to the days of Windows8. The webinterface tells you to install a player which is no longer supported by any browser. In addition to the lack of a webinterface, the mobile app does not work either. Having been in the IT world for over 40 years I rate this system very poor by todays standards and it will be return first thing in the morning
