Exactly. Because what Terry did to him was so psychological in nature, it would be very difficult for him to explain why Silver scares him so much. Definitely needed someone with a close, but still slightly removed perspective to help Amanda realize that Daniel is straight-up traumatized.

Man Robbie and Miguel’s fight was really good. The message and the fight itself were great and easily the best moment of the season. I think the finale and this episode were my favorite🤘🏻💯

Seriously though this season with every episode of Cobra Kai felt like a Power Rangers crossover episode with different generation of Power Rangers appearing in the other show to stop a bigger threat. Thomas Ian Griffith's Terry Silver kind of felt like Lord Zed lol.

You could see Greg getting emotional, glad I'm not the only one. Witnessing Daniel mend rivalries and become friends with Johnny, Chozen, and Mike gives so much hope in a hopelessly polarized time. Throw Miguel/Robbie in that mix and I've cried every damn episode except the first. Great watch, guys!

That 180 flip between Johnny and Daniel was as hilarious as it was heartfelt ! This level of writing in buildup and payoff is getting rare, nowadays ! This series is a masterclass of continuity. Shows that having the same showrunners who also happen to be the writers and authors for the entire series is actually a strength ! (as opposed to others who are just riding on the greatness of orginal authors, looking at you D'n'D...)

I think season 6 will be them training and going to fight in the Seiki Teiki tournament. And Swank is there as a Sensei and her students are fighting. That'd be pretty cool.

agree with that, i feel like season 6 may be the last and it will end with them winning the Seiki Teiki, and i think Swank is now pretty much the only one to not show up so it has to be next season and her being a sensi seems like the logical approach although it could be season 6 will end with them winning the Seiki Teiki, swank could have a son/daughter who is either a rebel/criminal type or gets bullied and they need to move, they see daniel who has won the tournament and decided to move to the valley so that swanks son/daughter can be straightened out(i guess similar to Robby)/taught to defend themselves

I loved that episode!! The fight between Silver and Daniel made me think immediately of the Luke/Vader fight in RoTJ. The orchestral music added a lot, but the fact that Silver was playing on Daniel’s anger made me think right away of that fight.

I have no idea y but when she’s talking to Cleese at the end it for some reason heavily reminded me of when Carly talks to Megatron in DOTM. (I’m probably going to into this but whatever) I feel like he’ll have a slightly similar moment when taking down Silver like Megatron and Sentinel Prime (minus the killing ofc). It's PS4s and not PS5s because only 2 summers have passed since the start of the show. PS5s haven't been released yet. It is the summer of 2019, so Not even covid hit this universe yet. Also a neat point: Cobra Kai, is ironically sooo PlayStation. (very sheep-ish fanbase, with a bully-like corporation backing it and the cool kids) but Myagi-do is definitely Xbox. (The underdogs you root for, more consumer-friendly focus, gets dirty only when they have to) Eagle Fang, is Nintendo, doing it's own thing. (no-nonsense approach, might be outdated but their retro style is still badass. and have a good working relationship with Xbox-Myagi-do)
