Ed Asner the actor who passed who played johnny's step father was a legend. He played Carl in UP, Hudson on Gargoyles, Granny goodness on the justice league cartoons, was also on Mary Tyler moore and a bunch of other shows. I believe him and Betty white were the last remaining cast members from Mary Tyler Moore still alive. RIP King.

Terry Silver dismissed ALL of Kreese's statements... even had a serious face all through out since seeing Kreese after 35 years, but the very mention of Daniel's name made him go back to that mischievous smile "Danny boy???" It's like that goddamn scene in Batman: Death in the Family where Joker realized he's talking to Jason Todd. I love it!

@@SergioM473 Well he has some PTSD from from the war and was manipulated by Kreese to feed into old habits and the life debt he owes. Silver finally felt powerful after the war with Cobra Kai and now he chases that desire after feeling powerless in his big massive mansion sitting at cocktail parties talking about some dumb app and eating tofu. The young wild Silver took drugs not to be a different person but to exemplify the person that was already there buried deep.

The season was great. It showed the natural progression of these kids situations and attitudes. Silver showed why he is the man. And of course, I just like reminding folks Thomas Ian Griffith (Silver) is a real life black belt and was in a few 90's action flicks. Yeah, Macchio is a year older than Griffith.

So I was rewatching Karate Kid 3 and I just realized that little callback to it. When Johnny shouts at someone for kicking a student in the balls, something that Mike did to Daniel. I love that cuz it shows how Johnny is becoming a better person and he is not Mike. And it was a really funny line lol

Watch the film Police Story and its sequel Police Story 2, both starring Jackie Chan. The martial arts in those movies are way better than the martial arts in Cobra Kai. The actors in Cobra Kai are not accomplished fighters like Jackie Chan and the members of his stunt team are. The martial arts in the Police Story movies blow away the martial arts in Cobra Kai.

The best character growth will be Tory, watch and see I am betting on it that teenager life sucks the worse of all these kids lets hope it works out.
