@@jesuspernia8031 oh sure! But what I mean is Sam seemed to jump after not wanting to be like her dad. And in my opinion, her jumping is exactly what Daniel would do. In the movies he was always taking risks and trying something crazy.

Kenny couldn't go to Miyagi Do. How do you think he'd react to find out the sensei is his bully's father. Maybe Johnny could've helped him, but with Eagle Fang training at Miyagi Do... kinda has the same issue. Unfortunately, Cobra Kai was the only option if he wanted to learn karate.

The headband (Hachimaki) is actually a really big deal to most martial artists. Daniel got his from Mr. Miyagi. Johnny got his from Ali (probably why he keeps it). Watching that is definitely a bit of an issue if Miguel technically doesn't fight for Miyagi Do. Plus Daniel does this a lot. Constantly absorbs the attention of one person and neglects who that effects or might bother. Then deflects it when someone brings it up.

with how the ceremony went, it's serious, hammering in the writing part of Miguel having a new sensei but I wanted to think first time watching, it was showing he would be that weeks sensei, not that Daniel would take it back. and in an episode or 3, Johnny has Miguel "co-sensei this class" it's just lousy writing to use Miyagi headband on somebody who caught a fish.

Miguel is a bright kid. It's okay for him to aim high as long as his grades are too. As far as we can tell, he could qualify for scholarships. Not to mention that him and Samantha going to an impressive academy, succeeding, and getting well-paid jobs means they'll be able to take care of themselves and each other and build a family together. Their family meal may not seem like a big deal now, but Miguel is doing everything he can to earn Daniel and Amanda's blessing in the long run. Also, let's not forget that Miguel was far more respectful on their dinner table than Kyler and Armand.

Please watch Bruce Lee’s Enter the Dragon and Jackie Chan’s Police Story (the 1985 movie). It’s good to learn about the history of the martial arts genre and watch some of the classics. Both the film Enter the Dragon and the film Police Story have better martial arts than the actors in this series do. Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan are more accomplished martial artists than the actors on the show Cobra Kai are.
