Parts stores have to pay taxes on inventory on hand. And yes, most of the generic parts those stores have had for all these years do suck, but they are easy to sell to people that dont know any better and their margins are very high.

I feel you. Replacing the brake pads on my MTB and you have to open up the leaver bleeder to compress the caliper and get your new pads in. Well I managed to get air in the system and needed to bleed out the lines. Low and behold I did not have the correct adapter to connect my bleed hose to the caliper. Not a single shop in my area had the adapter I needed, so no bike ride and I had to order off Amazon. Love living in a rural area but man does it get old when no one carries the universal parts you need and you end up having to order it.

The problem is those black fittings, theyre basically all junk. they all come out of the same factories and ive seen tons of these leak on everything from custom pc cooling systems to this exact same issue before on another car. Any of those black metal fittings you gotta replace them, theyre all gonna leak eventually and cause problems down the road. Theres a reason no auto manufacturer uses that type of connector on the fuel system, notice how the factory style connector from factory five stopped leaking immediately. Just a suggestion from someone whose worked on cars for quite a few years as well, and has done a decent amount of custom auto fab work.

The problem with parts stores isn't that there's s 90yo ordering. It's that there's a 19yo, that's never turned a wrench in their life, doing the ordering. Want to have some fun? Go to a parts store and ask for a 10S. Or even better a rebuild kit for a 10S.

But really, blaming Joe Biden for the rise in the cost of distilled water..... come on Trevor how petty is that. I'm sure it won't bother you in the slightest but I can't keep watching the channel now you've revealed your allegiances.
Wow! Give a man a clump of new wavy hair follicles that Shirley Temple would be proud of and he goes all political on us. 😮 If those flowing locks turn yellow and skin turns orange I'm gonna call for an intervention!! 😂 😂 (Loved it!)
