the blue one is nothing more than a china lightning elite with a supposed D2 blade. I got one coming to do a comparison. they charge 50 or $60 more just because it has the D2 blade. I'll check the internals against my lightning elite I bet you they're the same as a $30 lightning elite

@@JTSHOOTERREVIEWS Just received my Cobratec ""Lightweight"" same as the blue one yu have. ❗❗❗100%❗❗❗NOTHING BUT A LIGHTNING ELITE THATS $35! ONLY EXCEPTION IS SUPPOSEDLY D2 STEEL WITH A WARRENTY(?) SAME RIDGES ON HANDLE, JUST WITH A COBRATEC SYMBOL AND LETTERING ON IT., WITH A LITTLE MORE STYLISH THAN A PLAIN "CHINESE" LIGHTNING ELITE. THE ORIGINAL LIGHTNING FROM TAIWAN IS BETTER WITH TWO SPRINGS INSIDE. SO THEY ARE CHARGING UPWARDS OF $50 MORE BECAUSE ITS A D2 BLADE. SAME SCREWS EVERYTHING. SO MANY IDIOTS SAY THESE ARE MADE IN USA. THEY ARE NOT. I DON'T CARE. I HAVE 3 GUARDIAN TACTICALS IN 2 SIZES IF I WANT TO HANDLE A REAL QUALITY KNIFE. I EDC MY TAIWAN LIGHTNING ALMOST EVERY DAY. BOUGHT THE COBRATEC HOPING THE BLADE STAYS SHARPER LONGER THAN THE CHEAP 440 SS, OF THE LIGHTNING. I'M IN THE SHARPENING BI BESIDES CHARTER FISHING, SO I CAN SHARPEN ANY KNIFE I WANT IN MINUTES.

the lightning elite is the same knife. I actually feel like an idiot spending $85 + tax on the knife that I could have gotten for $25. D2 doesnt justify $65 price increase in my opinion.

@@AlexBikeMechanic I BOUGHT ONE for curiosity sake and possible YT video, debunking this knife (Lightweight). You can buy a Lightning, and add their D2 relacement blades. Its soooo funny how no one ever puts 2 & 2 together. Yeah, such a rip off.
