Cobra Triangle was amazing! Hard as hell, but man I loved that game. The going up the river levels could be incredibly brutal.

one of the games of my childhood when i went to my friend's house in 1989-1990 !!!! we were swimming in the pool, playing soccer.... and after that, we came to play this game in the house with our juice and candies. Nice memories.

i have great memories of this game.... i played this when i was a kid during very hot summer days of 1989 at my friend's basement, after swimming in the pool and eating Mr. Freeze.... GREAT memories.

DUDE... I love your stuff. i have absolutely no clue why your channel isnt alot bigger and getting MILLIONS of views!!! The quality, and humor is amazing!! When I first found you and your channel, i fell in love and watched everything you made. And so I went about telling everyone I could about this stuff!!! The only thing i have gotta ask of you; is to please, PLEASE PRODUCE MORE CONTENT DUDE!!! I know making this show has gotta be hard work... But the days, week, and what feels like months between videos is getting to "Jon Tron" and "AVGN" type levels! lol, with that said, Love your stuff man! Deffinetly keep it coming!!!

Late comment, but loving these videos so much! Actually Cobra Triangle kinda has some story to it: the guys from the planes you rescue last are the dissapeared pilots from Flight 19 that allegedly dissapeared in the Bermuda Triangle.

Excellent video Dave! I played this game all the time at my Aunts house with my cousins - we all took turns trying to advance farther then the other. Thanks for the nostalgia!

one of my all time favs. I got this game new from Sears, my dad got it for me along when the Ninja Gaiden and Silent Service. So nostalgic. thanks for the vid.

DUDE! If you didn't have the homing missiles by level 4, you weren't playing Cobra Triangle! By using the 1UP in level 1, you could literally max out your entire weapons and speed before you even moved onto level 2. And with the type of levels repeating in a cycling manner, you'd know if a difficult one was approaching - so id always have FORCE ready to go before advancing. Oh, but the feeling of going thru a whole waterfall stage without turning the boat at all, just timing the speed to perfection and hitting every one of the jumps in succession at full speed was a feeling unmatched by any other game in 1990. Couldn't do it with maxxed out speed, had to be one level below. Wow Rare were brilliant back then!

I could comment on the voice of the Lonely Goomba/Sad fungus/Alone Mushroom... Or the fact those monsters are crazy awesome looking... But one thing that really rung true for me, right at the start when you came down the stairs, is that you were wearing socks... And I'm picturing you setting that shot up, deliberating for hours whether or not you should wear shoes.. Shoes are proper, socks are casual, you're home, but millions of people watch these videos... In the past I always went shoes, it gave me strength to see you wearing socks sir. Nice.

From a fan. As much as I love your videos, I could not help but notice that your more recent entries (post 7777 subscribers) have started to contain strangely paced post-prod AfterEffectsy humor. Though I'm all for you trying new things, I always find myself skipping those parts to get to the gaming content. For some reason I find those segments off in comparison to your usually delightful editing and spontaneous jokes that always catch you off-guard. Anyways. Just a friendly thought I wanted to share.
