Today is the Debut of the Falklands 40 Series with myself and a fellow content Creator ‪@ScruffAesthetics‬. This time we are covering the Controversial war in what the British called the Falklands or what it's called in Argentina "Las Islas Malvinas". 40 years ago today the War began between the 2 nations and to commemorate the Beginning of the conflict, we present you with this Series!
Video Description: Fought in 1982, the Falklands War was the result of the Argentine invasion of the British-owned Falkland Islands. Located in the South Atlantic, Argentina had long claimed these islands as part of its territory. On April 2, 1982, Argentine forces landed in the Falklands, capturing the islands two days later.

No one in Argentina really wanted to start a war on any cirscuntances, sadly the dictators on charge of the country (1976-1983) tought that it was te right choice, and that will unify the country and put people on their side. The 99.99% of soldiers who fighted on the field in the Argentinian side were men´s between 18-24 years old with basic training and poor equipment, on the other side Britain had a much bigger budget, planes, ships, guns you name it. The war was over before the start for Argentina. Besides that i want to congratulate you for the video, greetings from Argentina!

Unfortunately both leaders of the 2 factions they saw this opportunity to skyrise-up their popularity with the society; The Junta they started to drift away the main mission to de-comunistify the country of the attacks of the cuba-funded guerrillas (Montoneros & ERP) that were doing bombing attacks around democratic goverments before they installed the last mentioned de-facto goverment. While The Margaret Thatcher Goverment also saw this invasion as an opportunity to turn-around the sky-rise of the popularity of the labour party opposition, due to a very bad mismanagement of privatizing former state-owned buisness & industries; the mockery of their oppositions of making "USSR Collution" for an example of their politics. Just like Churchill with WW2; the war was their advantage to be remembered as a "war hero" and not "peaceful heros" which its typical from right wingers brits.

It's somewhat of an unofficial rule for me but it just doesn't feel right for me to make any videos on the current conflict in Ukraine, everything is still so fresh considering its ongoing still. so yeah, don't expect me to upload any videos on the current Russo-Ukrainian war for now. glad you enjoyed this video! cheers!
