i've been listening to cobus since 2009 something and i commented that somehow got his attention and well, cobus inspired me to love drums. and i said back then "oh it's easy" tho nothing changed i still love drums and cobus. and then cobus says "oh hey, hey now i got your attention, no, it's not easy at all" to cobus, i said easy to motivate myself sorry for that, cause i'm stuck on being aggressive on drums i get tone deaf whenever i get into the zone of drum solo while neglecting my band mates. well eventually we disbanded and yeah its my fault. thank you man for years of inspiring.

I know that covers aren't what pay the bills anymore, but your covers are always what brings me back to you. You always put such a technical, lighthearted, and enjoyable feel to songs that always seem so intimidatingly hard that it makes me smile every time. I just love how Cobus plays. When we talk about level of difficulty, it really is hard but the way he plays makes you think like it's easy coz execution is neat and doesnt sound like it's just banging cymbals and snares. Musicality is top tier.
