When I put together this dividend battle if you will between KO and PEP, I learned a ton, but I also came to the conclusion that this is like comparing apples and oranges as they are not exactly the same type of company. PEP has rev pouring in from salty snacks whereas KO is solely soft drinks... Both are great investments!

PEP is about 22% of my portfolio currently🤣 wanted to buy even more since it's the only winner for me currently but I decided to stay low for a while. They're both ridiculously high currently most likely due to fear in the market. Every investor and his grandma went for defensive plays.

UK Investor here. I noticed that Costa only have Coca Cola products in their fridges which is interesting, so Coca Cola, Sprite, Smartwater etc but they recently partnered with M&S Foods for their food items, indicating that Costa under Coca Cola have no knowledge in food beverages. They sell Kettle and Tyrells crisps and not Walkers/Lays which is quite funny.

@John Coelho What? Both companies pay about the same in dividends John. 2.5-2.7% You can only make more in stock price and only if you pick the right one and you have no crystal ball. They are both highly successful companies and neither will ever defeat the other. Its been that way for over 100 years. Nothing wrong with buying both. Its called diversification.

Pepsi does the same stuff a lot. Coke just had the more shocking story. I ignore all that, invest in coke, collect the dividend, and spend it on anti woke stuff. At the end of the day, woke politics are short term, my bank account is long term.
