This is a very historic thing examining a newly translated Hebrew Revelation from Cochin India. PTM has invited the top people who worked on this manuscript to come examine it on camera and talk about the findings of this manuscript. In the Cochin translation we read "who loves us"" aramaic and scriptures say "who loved us"

Also in Rev 1:13-24 where it talks about his white garments (lavush)… and hair white as wool this description is also found in Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment (h3831 Labush) was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

Interesting also that in Rev 1:10 in the Hebrew it says a “great voice” or “qol gadol” which other than being used multiple times in the Hebrew Revelation as the voice coming from the Throne, is also only otherwise found in the OT (as far as I can see) in Deut 5:22 referencing when YHWH spoke from Mt Sinai out of the midst of the fire and thick darkness with a “great voice” or “qol gadol”….

It's THE cloud (Rev 1:7). Yeshua will come in the cloud (Ez. 1:4, Ez. 43:1-7, Isa. 66:15 and Acts 1:9-10).

There is also an Aramaic manuscript of the 4 gospels called Vatican folio #140 transferred from the Chaldean patriarchate in baghdad to rome in 1718 by Joseph assemani. It was dated in the year of the Greeks 389 (78 ad) made under the third bishop of edessa. It would be good if someone verified the existence of the manuscript. I don’t see a copy of it online. It is possible it is still in france because the contents of the Vatican were stolen by French troops under napoleon and this event marked one of the greatest loss of manuscripts of the church especially the manuscripts from the dark ages deposited in avignon. If it is not in the Vatican, it should be searched in the louvre, bibliotheque nationale, or french archives

The Cochin Matthew is mind-blowing. As for the Hebrew grammar and Aramaisms, it tops them all. It has very clear language that it could be the cleanest copy of the First Century Matthew. More details coming soon!

When I asked ChatGPT to translate verse 10 into Biblical Hebrew, it gave me "And the Holy Spirit rested upon me, and I heard behind me a great voice." ChatGPT also said, "While the primary meaning is "the Holy Spirit rested upon me," it could also carry the nuance of being "immersed" or "soaked" in the presence of the Holy Spirit."

I find this puzzling that the scribe used Yeshu and not the full name Yeshua. - He is called Yeshu in not positive way by those who don't accept Him as Messiah.

This manuscript is written in Mishanic Hebrew, which is also called "rabbinical Hebrew." It was common in rabbinic tradition to use abbreviations.

“Jehovah” represents the Age of Law and is the honorific by which the people of Israel called the God whom they worshiped. “Jesus” represents the Age of Grace, and is the name of the God of all those who were redeemed during the Age of Grace. Hi, as someone who is proficient in Hebrew language, I don't see the word "One" in the translation, simply the first - Rishon, the addition of One can be made, but it has no emphasis, or meaning of One that is alluded here. I think it's theological addition that is not in the original meaning, even that I like it, its not there as we see in the later word by word translation.

As to the coming in a cloud, and those who pierced Him? Some understood it to be in a short time, as those who stabbed him died a long time ago. Unless they will be raised so they can see Him coming in the cloud and recognize Him. As to families of the land, Earth, a lot of times Arets means the land of Israel, not the whole Earth. God tells Moses The Land I'm giving you, in this case Arets is local to the land of Israel.

"those who pierced Him" This refers Zec. 12:10-13 and Rev. 14:1-3. Zec 12:10 LITV: “And I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son , and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born.”
